If you like to wake up to and go to bed with Fox News in the community room, if you like Little Debbie snacks and stale store brand cereal for breakfast, and you like bibles and Bible verses in every nook and cranny, this is the place for you.

Ingleboro mansion was a wonderful place to stay. The owner, Jean, is very warm and friendly and did a wonderful job putting us at ease. My husband and I had the privilege of staying several days and it felt like a haven. There was a hospitality room where breakfast was eaten. It was always stocked with tea, coffee, and snacks. We went several times a day.The house has a grand white porch stocked with all sorts of seating. It even had bug spray available. (we didn't need any).We spent a couple evenings just spending time out there watching the (limited) traffic go by.Parking was easy and the house was easy to find. Our room was charming. I hadn't been to a bed and breakfast before so I was nervous that there might be a shared bathroom with other guests. But those fears were unfounded.Everything was very clean and comfortable. There were even snacks provided in our room. The second floor contained an office room that any guest could use, it also had a sitting area with a very large chess board that my husband and I took turns at every time we walked by. To my relief, we had to leave before our game could end.The first floor contained several rooms preserved into what they would have been like at the time the mansion was built. It was fun walking through them and imagining life back then.We accidentally left a few items behind and Jean let us know, and we were able to retrieve them. We felt cared for.I would recommend Ingleboro if you need a weekend getaway or just need a place to stay on your way through to elsewhere. If I ever come through the area again. I will be back.

We chose a B & B as the motels in this area are limited and the reviews weren't the best. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable bed, quiet night's sleep, this is your place. We were there during the pandemic so the owner was working on projects around the mansion so a few messes to work around. That didn't bother us in the least as we just needed a clean, comfortable night's sleep. If you like the Victorian Era, you will love the decor. Very Victorian in every room. Breakfast was not served but the coffee was brewing and lots of packaged snacks for guests to enjoy. We were the only guests staying at this time; it was VERY quiet so a good night's sleep. Check in and check out were so very simple (on your own) and the bill was in our room upon our arrival and we placed a check in the envelope provided. They do not take credit cards. We would stay again when in the area.

Jean is the best hostess in the world! All the historic detail in the structure and the paraphernalia around the house kept us busy! I just had to sit in each room for a long time to take it all in. There is so much to appreciate there!

Lovely historic home and the owner has thought of everything. Beds are comfy and super soft sheets. You'll love relaxing on the porch or in one of the clawfoot tubs. Pastries and coffee greet you downstairs in the morning.
