*THIS IS ONLY ABOUT ONE REALTOR NAMED SHAWN PHELPSThis man had my earnest money check of $1,000 cashed within 3 business days! Who does that???!!!This man bullied and tried to pressure me from day one. I was attempting to buy a property in Osborne. I made a mistake in thinking it was the month prior (probably due to my M.S. or medication) and signed paperwork that stated the closing would be in less than 10 business days!He originally tried to get me to buy the property by signing a 'Quit Claim Deed' which is terrible advice as no real estate agent should ever recommend that someone forgoes a title search. This man threatened me... lied to me and even implied I may have stolen something from the property and that he was getting footage from the store across the street.The person who held the key for me out of kindness so that I could have various businesses make bids on work as I was going back to Iowa stated he was acting as though I had less than honorable intentions by questioning her about why I needed a key. Then he tells me this woman told him I was odd. She and my son and I became fast friends. My son helped her with a weak floor problem... we took her out to breakfast twice and even cleaned our place we rented from her.This man is the worst man I have done business with in more than 30 years!

This past summer, our family farm was sold with the help and assistance of Shawn Phelps of State Line Properties. From the beginning, Shawn was challenged. The three of us struggled to agree upon a fair division of the undivided family farm. After nearly two years, we all agreed to go to auction. One afternoon, I googled "auctions" in the North Central Kansas area and came across the State Line Properties website. Shawn had recently and successfully ended an on-line auction of a farm. Since two of us live out-of-state, this seemed to be a great avenue to sell the farm. After researching the website, it was apparent that State Line Properties not only had local following but was far-reaching to many interested buyers, countrywide. The process from beginning to end was closely followed by Shawn. He called and/or met with each of us and thoroughly explained the process. A drone video of the land was uploaded onto the website to further assist interested buyers in viewing our farm. The two videos were very well done and showed amazing detail. Too, sale bills were distributed far and wide. I cannot say enough about Shawn's tireless efforts to direct and assist all of us at various times of the day or night. On many occasions, we needed his encouragement and focus on attaining the end result of selling the farm. Words cannot express the gratitude my brother and I have for all the time and effort Shawn placed in our sale. Clearly, I don't believe another choice of an auction company would have accomplished the same successful results. If you are looking for a different avenue of selling rather than a "typical" auction, I urge you to call Shawn. He is enthusiastic and thinks "out of the box!"
