“We have just experienced one of the hardest days we have ever had as a family when we had to put our dog to rest. The staff was absolutely amazing! They answered all of our questions and were so compassionate. When we went through the difficult process they were there for us every step of the way and were so sweet and professional during this extremely difficult process. Dr. Whitmon and his tech that day deserve a gold medal! I cannot even begin to imagine the difficulty of what they have to go through, but they made our experience as peaceful and personable as possible and I will forever be grateful to them during this extremely difficult time. I could not have asked for better people to help us through one of the hardest days of our lives. They gave us the most beautiful keepsake of our dogs fur in a little paw print vial that I will cherish the rest of my life!”

“Dr. Tarrant, Dr. Madden and the entire staff at Arbor Creek Animal Hospital are the most knowledgeable, compassionate, customer focused and cost considerate providers I have ever experienced, and I've been a cat mom for 60 years with a variety of clinics. I came to Arbor Creek because the previous well-known clinic was money driven, they rushed exams, lost paperwork and insisted on shots, etc. that were not necessary for an in-door only cat. A personal friend vet-tech works at Arbor Creek, and I knew how qualified and caring she was, she wouldn't work at a clinic that didn't meet her standards for small animal care. This is a very calm environment for pets, they never rush and spend as much time as needed communicating pet test results, suggest alternatives to keep cost down, etc. Pets are family, Arbor Creek is all about professionally and passionately caring for pets and their families.”

“My guinea pig became very sick on Sunday evening and his regular vet had no openings for 2 weeks. This place got him in the very next day even though he had never been seen there. Sadly my guinea pig did not make it (which was NOT their fault) but everyone there was so kind, patient, and understanding through a difficult appointment and decision to make. Thank you so much!”

“My pup had surgery here in January 2026. The staff (Morgan especially ?) are all very friendly, compassionate and welcoming. We’ve been with Murlen Vet for years and the staff are amazing. We had to have a dying pup put down and although it was traumatic for me, they couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful. Def recommend to those looking for a well established and professional Veterinary Service.”

“This is to express enduring appreciation to our vet, Dr. Hadley Warwick, for his informed, common sense, loving care of our corgi Daisy. Under his watch, she stayed healthy and perky, but her final battle with IVDD could not be countered, so we relied on him to send her home.

The room was set up with subdued lighting and a plush covering on the table provided for comfort. Slowly, and over a period of almost an hour, he entered and left the room, patiently administering the medications to allow her to gently drift away in peace.

Although the loss was heartbreaking, it was the most peaceful euthanasia of a pet I have experienced. Afterward, he assisted as I carried her to the car and gave me a hug.

From the attention Dr. Warwick gave our pet—in life and in death—it is obvious he loves his work and his clients. We are grateful.

God bless him and his wonderful staff for helping us through this deep loss and for the personal care, attention and dignity they continue to offer to the families and furry friends of our community.”

“New to the area, I 'shopped around' for a new vet to take my cats. After researching numerous reviews and listening to countless recommendations from neighbors and colleagues, I scheduled with VCA Olathe, and I'm glad I did. While my beloved C Michelle passed away from liver failure 1 week prior to the appointment, I kept the scheduled exam for her sister, my sweet C Marie. VCA was very professional and sensitive to my situation and handeled everything from confirming the appointment to answering my numerous questions with care. My good intial impression was enhanced upon entering the facility, which was clean and welcoming. We were met by Susanne at the front desk who greeted us on time and showed us to the exam room. Shortly thereafter, tech Lori entered and did weight check, reviewed records, etc on C Marie and thoroughly explained the exam process and vaccinations that were due. And OMGoodness!, I can't say enough about Dr Henne. She was soooo caring and sweet in her handling of C Marie, explaining everything in layperson terms that I could easily understand. Another tech/assistant helped trim C Marie's nails (a service that was recommended but not PUSHED on me, which I appreciate) that was also very dear. When learning of the needed teeth cleaning my girl needed, Lori explained the entire process, reviewed financials, and even let me see the area in the back where it would be preformed (to be scheduled at a later date) They even gave us a 'welcome bag' with a new cat toy and complimentary next dose of Revelution+. Dr Henne did more than just 'exam' C Marie, she pet and even offered her treats, which is the best way to acclimate my girl to new people and surroundings. I'm a very protective 'mommy' to my girl as she has special needs being an amputee, and I will not hesitate to make Dr Henne and the team at VCA Olathe her new vet and will highly recommend them to everyone.”

“Friendly staff and efficient, once you make it thru check-in. They didn't seen to care whether you had a scheduled appointment or not, it seems to run as first-come, first-served, regardless. It is a bit frustrating when you've taken time to register and sign-in beforehand and there is a line of walk-ups who push your 5 minute appointment to be 20 - 30 minutes late.

Also, the day I went there was no signage directing you towards the clinic, you just have to wander thru the store until you find them setup behind the fish tank area near the reptiles.”

“We lost our 15 year old diabetic boy about a week ago, and once again, these amazing people did not disappoint in a time our family was in crisis. Dr. McDermott went above and beyond, even running from her car into the clinic to help, knowing every second counted as our dog was desperately struggling for air. She, Emma, and Brandon all jumped in and worked on him with meticulous care for two days before we ultimately lost him because his body just couldn't fight anymore. Our family cannot say thank you enough to the amazing Mur-Len team. The entire staff are incredibly kind people who display in action their dedication to the well being of our furry family members.”
