This was hands-down the best post office experience I have ever had! From the moment I walked in, every employee had a positive, can-do attitude and genuinely wanted to help.
I was in a serious pinch—needing my passport in about a month—and they walked me through every step of the process, including expediting fees, required documents, and timelines. They made what could have been a stressful situation feel simple and manageable.
I had already been driving all over Kansas City trying to get this figured out. Earlier in the day, I went to the Monticello post office as a walk-in, but the gentleman there seemed unwilling to help and told me my only option was to go to Chicago to get my passport.
This location was the complete opposite—friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They went above and beyond to make sure I left feeling confident and taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough!

Apparently, when you choose a priority shipping and it requires a signature instead of bringing it to your apartment to sign, they put the letter in your mailbox and don’t attempt to deliver it at all, and then it goes back to the Stillwell warehouse an hour away when I called I was told I would have to come get it re-delivery was not an option. When I was home and there was no delivery attempt made to even contact me. I don’t consider that a red delivery I consider that I never attempted.

After getting rejected at our lee summit USPS 3 times for an appointment. We was recommended to cone here i want to say thanks you and we appreciated you kindly and thank for all the help that much appreciated. A simple process but other usps dont want to do it. The 2 ladies was so kind.

Had to drive to Stillwell from downtown KC for a walk-in passport application. They had another family in getting passports as well but got someone to the counter to help me so I didn't have to wait.
The person who was helping the other family was great with them and their kid. And the person who helped me was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right on a renewal for my wife.

They seem to keep taking my reviews down, which is odd. Anyway, refused to search for packages, were rude to me, and to top off making several hundreds of dollars in belongings arrive extremely late, they now cannot make it up a paved, unobstructed walkway in 70 degree weather. Genuinely debating pressing charges if I find a way.

Did a walk-in lost passport replacement application. Staff were kind, efficient, caring, explained everything well, and were dressed in funny Christmas sweaters! Nicest post office I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth the drive.

I drove the extra distance because this location was rated twice as high as any other location and for good reason! I came for passport services, they are informative, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend driving the extra distance for the personal service. They are very proud of the level of service they provide.
