Why, why WHY do I have to call nearly EVERY DAY to have my password reset for online banking access? Every time I turn around I'm locked out of my online account through no fault of my own, and cannot reset the password without calling the customer service number and wasting 10 minutes of my day. And I'm sure there will be a generic "We're so sorry, please contact us" response to this review, but I have mentioned it a dozen times or so already with no improvements. Save the headache and go to a real bank.

Banking with Community National is one of the worst banking experiences I could ever imagine. First of all, when I opened my account, I asked if they had ATM deposits, and I was told yes, our ATMS are 24/7. Then the next day, I tried to deposit money into the ATM, and I wasn't allowed to deposit money into them, so I went into the lobby to deposit it. When I deposited my money, I was not given a receipt for my transaction, and I asked for one. The teller (the older lady with white hair) then asked me if I wanted my balance written down or verbally said to me. I was shocked by the unprofessionalism, and then she wrote my account balance down onto the piece of paper that the machine uses to print out account balances and receipts. When I closed my account with them, I told them that I used the card to make two transactions and told them to leave X amount of money on it, but the teller said my account cleared, and It was closed after I withdrew all my money from them. Three days later, I looked on the mobile app, and I saw a negative balance, so I drove to the drive-through to settle the balance. I was insulted when I asked if I could use my debit card to pay the balance. I was told, "we don't do cash advances here." 10/10 wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone or any of its chains.

Would not recommend trying to get a home equity loan through this bank. We were quoted a percentage and amount before applying for the loan and then when we filled out the application, they gave us a different percentage and amount. They asked us to be permanent customers of their bank which we politely declined. It was after this request that their customer service seemed to really change. They also chose a home appraisal company that has 1/5 star reviews online. They appraised our home at a significant lesser value than what it is worth. When questioned about the inconsistency in percentage and amount, they were unable to identify why they miscommunicated to us. Seems like they will tell you want you want to hear, have you pay the application fee, then give you a significantly different number. Waste of time and money.
