I don't need a physical bank but I go to get the tea on people in the area. Customer service is out in the open. Staff is always at the teller line gossiping. No privacy here. Entertaining, but terrible bank if privacy is a concern. Will be sad when we move and I can't walk over.

I would rate a 0 zero. For one, the bank refuse costumer service to the public that orders boxes of half dallors, that's a legal currency to the United States.

Community Bank has been a good local non Big Box store bank that has been an advocate and on my side for many years now. I don't have one bad thing to say about them. I'm retired and have used many banks over the years but this one is hands down the best I have ever used.

I had a money order stolen and my Western Union trace showed that it was cashed and deposited at Community Bank here in Topeka without my name nor was it endorsed and I had put the wrong person as the recipient so I assumed it couldn't be cashed legally. I called the bank and spoke with Maureen and we figured out by account number and money order number that the stolen money order without the correct name on it and without the back of the check being signed to verify identity of the depositor which according to Community Banks policy verifies that with out proper identification, correct endorsement from payer and legal cashed or deposited into a bank account. Maureen was a team player until I called back and asked how a deposit can be allowed if there isn't any name affiliated with the purchase authorization nor has it been signed over according to Community Banks policy. As soon as I asked her as to why she said it's allowed to cash money orders at the bank. I'm a pretty sharp guy and saw her play on words to sidestep the actual context of my question. She then went from being a concerned bank representative to a short tempered defensive individual that blatantly had no concern to the fact that her bank teller accepted a transaction without proof of transaction or receipts. Once I mentioned that I'm going to file complaints with EVERY investigation bureau and file Federal fraud charges against everyone that is involved with the transaction she said we have nothing to say to you so have a lawyer call for anymore information. You know Maureen what you should have done was to be an advocate to find out what employee disregarded company policy and violated Federal law on several levels and not turn this situation into some vindictive womens rant of how I'm the problem with what Community Bank fraudulently allowed and covered up in the end. I have all the evidence of the transaction ,the tellers number and the bank account it went into. I would think a bank representative would have the banks best interest and policy in mind and to have a stolen money order laundered through the bank without any transactions receipts would now involve you as an accomplice to Federal banking fraud and EVERY investigation bureau that I have and will file with and follow up with to solidify why laws are made to protect the honest and truthful consumers from criminals who don't respect others or their livelihood. I'm going to use every resource to the fullest extent of ythe law. I'm disabled and having to find out that $500 was allowed to be processed by people that are being trusted with peoples hard earned cash is quite frightening now that I have interacted with an accomplice who showed no concern. Tah Tah.

Companies are rejecting my payment via my debit card and the only explanation these bank representatives say including the President is delete the information and re-enter it. I explain that have done that numerous times and the next excuse is the card is new. This card is 3 months old and has been used at those same merchants for 3 months via the same method. Not helpful at all and my perspective is that they do not care. Moving my account and will not ever patronize this bank again. Very uncaring!!

A few drive through lanes open, went fast. As for location, it's somewhat hidden just West of 29th and not a direct entrance of the main street.Drive through enters on the southwest side of building.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Barb and this bank. She has gone above and beyond to navigate all we needed to utilize funding from the CARES Act for our small business. When a lot of large corporate banks left business owners scrambling, I’m so glad we have this local bank that takes an interest in our survival and success, not just during the pandemic, but always. Thank you.
