“I was so impressed with the manager Crystal who I called in the process of helping with a private matter however she was not only helpful but I noticed while I was on the phone with her she was greeting people by name and just had a kindness and wonderful presence about her and people were reacting to that with so much joy. We need more people like her in the world.”
“I have Asperger's, I'm in this store almost once a day, but on Christmas eve I was threatened by a guy mistaking me for someone else and asking for money he thought I owed him. Not only did the cashier step in, one stepped away from his register to walk me outside and get me to my car. I don't like hugging people I don't know, but I gave that guy a hug for being an absolute badass.”
“It is almost a miniature version of most Dollar General stores. Don't let it fool you, it is absolutely packed with the same stuff as a bigger store. Bonus points for being organized and clean. Go there while you wait on your pizza from Marcos next door.”
“Rented a Rug Doctor but didn’t assume the name Dr Rug. This is good and I’m grateful for keeping my unassuming self, free from self proclamation. The Rug Doctor did a great job and priced right. Dorothy, the store manager was very helpful and does an amazing job as her help is.

“Employees were very friendly. Frustrated with the company overall. I understand they had to raise prices to $1.25, but there is stuff over that. The beauty of the Dollar Tree was everything was the same price. I don't normally shop at Dollar Tree anymore because of this issue, but I stopped in today to see what has changed. Again the employees were super friendly!!!!!”

“This shampoo found at Dollar General (purchased in north Topeka Blvd in shopping center) is the only kind they have that isn't heavy laden with several types of sulfates that is very harsh on your hair. This is free from all kinds of chemical & additives that can be harmful. It's safe for you, the planet & no testing on animals. It smells great & gets your hair really clean & soft.”
“The Dollar general on like 35th and Topeka boulevard is an excellent store because I recently lost my wife came home from work and she suffered a seizure and passed away while the children were home and I told them what happened because I needed help finding something and I was very very confused but they always have been nice and always told me that I could rely on them for help”
“Lots of thefts every week but the staff are awesome! They are Very helpful and you can tell they try hard to keep the place in order when they have the staff to do so. If customers were more respectful to this place it would be in much better shape. If you see someone stealing from here feel free to speak up to them or the staff. A little goes a long way!”
