I am always interrogated and feel as though I'm looked down on when I go here. If someone needs help, the last thing you should do is make them feel bad for asking for it. The lady in the clothing closet was very friendly but the ladies in the office are very hurtful. I will not be going back here for help. :(

On February 5th 2025, Doorstep was willing to help me get my prescriptions I needed. The lady I spoke to on the phone was suppose to call Walgreens to confirm they would pay for my prescriptions. I found out today, February 6th 2025 that they never called Walgreens or anything and Walgreens without consent took money out of my account to pay for the prescriptions. I am not working right now due to medical reasons and haven't been cleared. My financial resources have to stretch so I can keep a roof over my head til I do go back to work. What Doorstep did was so wrong! I will NEVER ask for help from doorstep again!! I believe in karma so they will reap what they sow!! God doesn't like ugly!!

Amazing. When things got tough, they were there to assist me in finding resources I didn’t know were available. They are busy bees but were compassionate along the way.

Ive never received assistance before .I lost my job and soon my home I got another job asked for helped getting a place to live . I've had to make every attempt to contact them I was told I was left voicemails I never got I was given false information and treated like I was a criminal .it's been allmost six months still I have gotten o help just blown off. I don't know if is because of my race or gender .I'm not sure but it s been a complete waste of time . Derek is the guys name . And he's not been helpful or truthful at all. I hope nobody else has the same experience .
