I think they did a wonderful job. I was able to get my cat looked at the day I called, they accurately diagnosed the problem and the cost was extremely reasonable. Dr. Steele did a great job figuring out what was wrong with my cat and she didn't hesitate to do (the unpleasant) job of fixing it. My cat is so spoiled, she screamed like a baby, she was having issues with her fat little behind bothering her and the doctor "dug" right in and fixed the issue. Afterwards my cat showed a marked improvement in her activity and overall demeanor. So I think Dr. Steele figured out what was hurting her and took care of it. I can say I've been to other vets and none of them were willing to "dig in" and figure out why my chubby little sweet girl was in so much pain. Also the staff there were very nice - unlike other vets in the area (talking about Paw Prints who have the rudest, most unpleasant and down right hateful staff ever). At this place everyone was super nice. And the cost was really reasonable, its hard to take your pet in and not expect to pay hundreds of dollars for something that may, or may not fix the problem. They charged me a good price for the exam and did not tack on a bunch of extra stuff (like Paw Prints). I will definitely be taking my cats back to Family Pat Hospital and seeing Dr. Steele again.

I guess since my pet is a cat. He doesn't get that special care. Our first visit I was snapped at by the Dr. She wasn't very nice. Today we had an appointment. Was called up and said they had to cancel, Dr had an emergency. No one else was available to give my cat his shot. They called 20 mins before I was going to leave.40 mins before our appointment. Wanted to move appointment to Wednesday or Thursday. There Was long delay when I told them those dates and times wasn't good. They Was happy to fax my cats records to another clinic.

Called on my way to take my dog in after being stung by a bee or two. They got us in as soon as we showed up. Treated him amazing. Gave him a steroid shot. Benedryl and another steroid to take at home. $70, affordable, fast, and caring. 10/10 would recommend.

I am so frustrated with their policies! The vets are nice enough, but they have ridiculous policies when it comes to meds. If we're going to be forced to use their overpriced pharmacy, they need to make the process easier! We have to order through their online pharmacy which runs about $10 more per med than any other online pharmacy. With two dog, two meds, twice a year, thats $80 dollars MORE than I would spend at any other pharmacy. To make matters worse, it's always a game of telephone tag. I have autoship set up, every six months, but they automatically deny all orders until they talk to you, so they call, but I'm at work, then I call back from work and they want to know how many heartworm pills I have left, I'm at work so I can't say, so they won't order the med, then I call when I'm at home, but their busy, so I have to wait on hold forever or sometimes, it goes to voicemail, they call back I miss the call... It's so annoying! And since I didn't get my dogs on the same date, their heart worm pills orders are at different times, so 4 times a year, we play this game. I would be willing to pay for their overpriced meds if they would just let me get the autoship without the telephone tag, that's why the autoship exists, to make sure your dogs are getting their heartworm meds every month.AND they don't always take good notes. The vet gave me prescription food for my cat who is prone to UTIs, I ordered more from their online pharmacy. When I tried to order a second time, they told me I didn't have a prescription in my file. It didn't matter that the vet gave me a sample and approved the first order, someone forgot to write it down and they wouldn't let me order more without bringing in my cat for another examination, so I went back to feeding her regular food.

Our black lab had late stage kidney failure. The day before Thanksgiving she took a turn for the worse. Being that it was a holiday our primary veterinarian did not have a veterinarian available to see her and let her pass in a peaceful manner. Contacted Family Pet Hospital and their staff and Dr. Brown were able to arrange for her to be seen that morning. The compassion and professionalism by Dr. Brown and their staff during such a tough time for our family was unremarkable. Further more a few days later we received a condolence card signed by all of the staff. I am thankful for this clinic and staff for taking in and helping us and our pet when we weren’t even patients of the clinic.

Both vets are wonderful to work with and got my dog in quickly for health issues. I now have another dog and they will be his health defenders, too.
