“Probably one of the best liquor stores in Topeka. Great selection, friendly staff, and good about bringing in new stuff on the regular with great deals on the regular. Outside of my close by neighborhood liquor store I've known forever it's probably my only other real go to in Topeka. You just gotta love these folks.”

“Just had a company meeting in their conference room. The accommodations were excellent and the variety of drinks provided was great. Awesome place for a meeting and they have some pretty cool artifacts on display. Overall I'd recommend them to anyone needing a large room for any kind of meeting.”

“Recently, my granddaughter stopped at The Dock Convenience Store to meet a couple acquaintances. During her visit, one of these individuals attempted to tease her by driving off in her car. When he returned, he nearly hit her. Joel, the clerk at the liquor store next door, witnessed the incident and intervened by confronting the individuals and stopping their harassment. My granddaughter left before she could thank Joel for his assistance. I am grateful to Joel for his willingness to help out a young lady in need. A real hero in our estimation.”
“Very friendly, I went there to turn in my winning lottery tickets and to purchase more, but every time I have went there to either purchase or trade in my lottery tickets they seem to not have a choice. Most times there isn't any to choose from. So I normally will turn around and buy some liquor. Haha ?”

“In Topeka this is one of three that I prefer to frequent, and out of the three I come here the must. I think is partially due to location being right next to Dillons makes it nice, however there's something else special here. First I've never seen in any other liquor store in Kansas Japanese whiskey being sold. This should speak to their selection. They aren't huge, and because of that you find Ice Wine here, but few in Kansas look for it anyways. The owner and staff are VERY friendly. If you have a request the owner will do his best to get it stocked, and he has done just that for me in the past. This is one of a small handful of liquor stores that sell such a broad selection of sparkling wines which make great gifts, and pleasant alcoholic beverages to bring to nice holiday parties.”
“Been shopping here for 18 years. The previous owner Billy who just recently passed away, was one hell of a guy. He was funny, hard working, and had one helluva presence. And you always felt welcome and seen whenever you came into his store. The new owners have big shoes to fill, and they're doing their best to make it their own. Give em' a little more time. Hopefully they will get to know the people, and then bring 6th St Liquor back to the Eastside again. Hey I just bought a $1 scratch off last night and won $20!”
