Such a shame that their brick and mortar store closed. It was fantastic!

I attended their sale today. I purchased about 150 books in the morning and came back to purchase about the same quantity after lunch. I needed three more boxes to put my books in and when I asked if there were more boxes the owner said "why don't you just go to your car and empty the books you bought this morning and use those". I was surprised by this suggestion and the tone of his voice but quietly went to my car, dumped three boxes of books into the back or my car and

I was conducting by email a negotiation for a sale of a limited edition first book. Oddfellow's Books owner went on a riff about how much he knew then launched into a personal attack on me and my profession. I have worked with many firms on purchase and sale of fine books and art. I have never been attacked personally before. This is totally inexcusable.

Looks like a good place by the reviews and from glancing through the window. I'm a Book loving Trucker. I try to visit every good bookstore in Town. Called this morning to see if I could find some parking for my Tractor around. No answer! Drove to the place and found parking on the next block. Not opened! Called. No answer! Shows should b opened today 12/16/17 from 10am. It's 12:14pm. Disappointed. With my job this opportunities are rare. Courtesy 4 star.

Many treasures to find here. I went in looking for a pretty specific type of book, found it and walked out with three others!

This is a cool little speciality bookstore nestled in downtown Topeka. They specialize in antique and rare books with a large selection on Topeka and Kansas history and culture. The space is organized and has a wide variety of topics. They also have local art and photography for sale as well as antique pieces. I especially like how they've branched out a little to feature book themed products - candles, bookmarks, clocks and t-shirts. The hours can be a little wonky and there have been a few times I've tried to stop in and they've been out buying books, etc. The owners are very friendly and supportive of local businesses especially downtown and I appreciate how they're fostering a sense of community for the downtown area.

Treasures abound in this tidy, well organized shop. I love the old maps and the focus on local history. The best part of the store is striking up a conversation with Brandon. I learn something new every time I visit.

Lovely vintage bookstore. Well organized shelves, friendly staff. Also has maps, stamps, postcards, comic books, etc. Wish I had discovered them sooner.

Our little shop is a dream come true! It is a great place for people to find the rare books they have always dreamed of! Also, our coin collection is steadily growing. And don't forget about all of our cool Topeka history books and items! We can't wait for you to come by and check us out!

When I walked into Oddfellows, I saw a well-laid-out store containing rare and fun-to-encounter books, maps, pictures, comic books, coins, stamps, post cards, and other realia. It was fun to look around the corners, and through the cases to find an eclectic array of items.

Great local bookstore that has more than just books. They also have a fine collection of coins, historic maps, Brandon Rison takes time to visit with customers. The Rison's have a great business nestled in the heart of the city.
