Really wish they would reintroduce online booking for the salon. Half of the people I've seen come in are unaware the salon even exists. Definitely needs to be better advertised.

Yikes. I'm a nonprofit animal rescue curator and veterinary professional. I decided to take two of our adoptables in for a bath after they swam at Shawnee Lake. I asked up front if there was a rescue discount and was informed that there isn't. Of course, just after paying for the baths, the prompt on Petco's credit card machine read: would you like to help us save animals? Well, Petco. Would YOU like to help ME save animals? Come on now. The bath station was atrocious. Hair all over the floor, hair all in the tubs and drains. Hair covered the walls and steps, as well. Suffice it to say, no one had bothered cleaning and it looked like at least 3 customers had come through with dense and longer coated dogs, like Labs. The tubs hadn't even been rinsed. There were muddy paw prints leading up the steps The shampoo dispenser is laughable. There is a note on the wall stating that the machine is "trying her best". Look, y'all have shampoo bottles for sale on the floor if you can't afford to get a machine fixed. I let the machine run for 10 mins while I deshed my largest dog. Still no soap, I tasted the water. As such, my dogs left there smelling like pond water instead of shampoo. And, yes, I tried both the shampoo and puppy shampoo options. At best, this is a place to RINSE your dogs, not bathe them. I also found that there were no nail trimmers. I asked the help desk and was told they don't stock them for use. So, if you're looking to rinse your dog indoors instead of just hosing them off outdoors, this is the place for you. If you're looking to actually be supplied with soap, conditioner, nail trimmers, sizeable towels and a clean station, try any place but this one.

Took our granddogs to get groomed & 1 vaccine expired yesterday, mind you it was a Sunday. We don't ever get our vaccines early. Drove 40 minutes to get there. Seemed as if they know when we came in it was expired. No phone call, had no where to take the dogs as arrangements were made around the dogs getting dropped off. Very unhappy, looked like it was because they really didn't want to work today. Very rude & unprofessional. 0 for customer service. Had our other dog to drop off as well but due to the way we were treated we didn't feel comfortable leaving him there. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE!

I go in to go get some frozen hoppers for my snake because my shipment was running late, what I see in there reptile section shocked me, I know stores can be bad about care for animals but this was bad for these snakes. They legitimately had 3 ball pythons stored together, ball pythons are solitary creatures who will kill each other or harm each other when stored together, with horrible stuck shed, one had an eye cap stuck and was going blind. There other reptiles weren't doing much better with bearded dragons with p*** all over there cage. I told and employee about the ball pythons with the eye cap and stuck shed but it seemed like nothing was done. I feel horrible for these animals and it's bordering on animal abuse. Get it together and take better care of these poor creatures.

Staff aren't very friendly and seem to only be there for a paycheck. Stopped carrying several items I used to purchase frequently so I have started going to PetSmart, jungle house in Lawrence of safari pets. Used to be so much different and enjoyed shopping there before they moved locations this year.

My dog is obsessed with this joint. We take her there monthly to get her hair and nails did. I let her choose a toy and some treats from the bar.

Everything. I bought two items and to the best of my knowledge, I didn't make it home with one of them. After returning to the store and waiting for this mind numbingly ignorant sales person to review his , "security camera," they determined that I had indeed left with item. I just left my items there. You live and you learn and no matter how you try to avoid it occasionally you encounter a part time human being. The most respect I can give them is a simple "**** You." And if they think they deserve anymore than that they are sadly mistaken.

I purchased two items at Petco and after about a 15 minute delay when I returned to the store, because I do not believe that I left the store with both items. After a lengthy wait they said I did. I just left the merchandise there at the store. I'm out a few dollars, you live and you learn. I did meet a completely worthless individual disguised as a store employee and what I could tell a part time human being. All said and done i will never set foot in that store again. A simple F*** Off is the most respect you will get out of me.

I brought in my new puppy today to get him some treats and a name tag and all of the workers were so sweet
