We were on a long trip so we stopped to rest. We were greeted by a friendly desk clerk got our room keys. As we turned on the light to room we found they were roaches running across the floor and bed bugs on bed room 111. We told the front desk person and wanted to switch room but was told no.

I booked a room at the last minute and thought this looked like a good choice. I am a 21 year old female and was traveling alone. I got to my room and the deadbolt would come open just by rattling the doorknob. The door wouldn't stay locked or latched. I went to the front desk and they told me nothing else was available. I decided to checkout and they told me I could call the next day for a refund. When I called they said there's no refund. Super shady hotel!!!

I was at the hotel no more then 3 hours. My job booked it for training. I politely found a different hotel and will be paying for it myself. My review is like the others. The staff is very nice. What puzzled me is the other reviews have the same complaint as me but I'm on the first floor and one of the other reviewers said he was on the elevator so that let's me know that all the rooms are the same!!! The lady offered me a different room, it's not like the sink is clogged or a leak in the ceiling, which I would them take another room but this is horrible. The headboard has round oil marks on it so I know it wasn't cleaned, I mentioned that because it wasn't mentioned in the previous reviews, last but not least BLOOD yes BLOOD is on the walls and the picture over the desk. I've been a nurse for 17 years I know BLOOD when I see it. The one review that the guy was happy must have been meeting here for other reasons because nothing about this hotel would make you happy except leaving. The killing part is that that owner response is the same on every unhappy person. It must be a computerized response. When I reported this to staff she looked shocked, I bet all the money I have that this isn't the first time she heard about this. Please don't come here!!!

Absolutely awful! Got there, concrete pool was closed and drained empty. It wasn't blocked off or anything so any child (like my 2yr old) could have fallen right in, 5ft down. Took my family of 6 to try to enjoy the hot tub at least, until we realized they had extension cord running within a few feet of the hot tub. Had to pack everything up and switch rooms because the toilet wouldn't work and the door wouldn't stay shut. Then my 13yr old son slept on the pullout sofa and woke up the next day to bed bug bites! Even after all this, they still charged us full price ($112) for the room! It was Thanksgiving Day and we couldn't go anywhere else! Ruined out holiday!

Nothing quality about this place. The whole building smells like stale Pall Malls. Who knows when the last time this place has been cleaned. Toilet always runs, sink handle fell off, half the outlets in the room didn't work, A/C runs when it wants to etc. I would recommend paying a little more to stay somewhere else.

I had reservations for this "hotel". It was supposed to be fairly nice according to pictures online. When I checked in, I was given Room 107. The room was dirty, very old and smelled of old cigarette smoke (supposed to be a non-smoking facility). The old, brittle, thin curtains had cigarette burns in them. Ash was on the floors, the linens weren't clean. There was a large hole kicked in the wall and large poorly patched places from other holes. I did not feel safe here in the ground level room. The property next door is an abandoned boarded up motel. I refused the room and was denied a refund. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone unless you don't mind very low class joints such as this one. It is not even worthy of a 1-star rating.

Stayed one night in a room with king, queen, and fold out couch. Plenty of room for all 6 of us! Breakfast was okay. Good lighting in the parking lot.

The lampshade in the room was filthy, and the vent cover in the bathroom ceiling was falling down (see photos). But the worst part of the entire thing was how the front desk handled the check in. Although I booked this room for my daughter and her husband on April 4 (and paid for it on-line), the front desk insisted that she have me e-mail a copy of my ID and credit card to the hotel, so that they had authorization to charge. I looked at my bank account and verified that I had already paid for this on April 4. When I called the front desk to ask about this, the lady kept giving me the runaround of "we have to have authorization for your daughter to charge the card," even though I had already been charged. And when I tried to ask any further questions, she hung up on me. And getting through to Choice Hotels customer service is next to impossible. Will never book from Choice Hotels again.

Older does not mean worst. This is a 3.5 out of 5 star place, but I will round up to 4 stars. Pros: *The rates are really reasonable*The staff is really professional *The staff is really friendly*Indoor pool *They change the items on the complimentary breakfast a little daily*Clean*Walking distance to 2 fast food establishmentsCons:*You see the age of the facilities (i.e. minor cracked paint, really worn down carpet, feel the loose spots in the floor when walking, etc.)*All the electrical outlets in the room didn't work*Cards for the doors easily lose programming All in all, if you want a fancy look, you will not like this place. If you want a safe place to lay your head that is clean and at a good rate, this will be an okay place for you.

Hotel staff was very friendly! The rooms were okay but need some updating. They are pet friendly which is the major reason we stayed here. I turned on the air conditioner and it smelled like algae... random spots on the floor. Beds were clean which is what matters to me, but everything else was a bit sketchy.
