Torrid is a basic high end plus size clothing store now; it used to be more funky alternative style clothes. I feel like it's too expensive for how normal/bland it is now, but at least it's never busy and employees are always polite. Maybe they have the cool clothes online but I've not checked..

I was in a few days ago and there was one employee and she was clearly swamped! They were short a person, the fitting rooms were full, they had shipment that needed to go out and there were many people in the store. Layne, the one employee, was doing her very best to hold down the fort! There were kids screaming while their moms were trying on clothes and Layne kept it together (at least on the outside, not sure how she was feeling inside ☺️). In short she was a multitasking queen! This is such a difficult situation to be in and Layne was still attentive to her customers with a positive attitude. Torrid is lucky to have Layne and please get her some support help until the manager is back!!

This store is a necessity to Topeka. It is the last one of it's kind. The staff are so helpful and the sales are great! Discounts online are wonderful and exchanges in store are easy.

it was so dam hot in there the heat was broken. prices are really high also. just because you are big doesn't mean they should charge so much.

Walk in around 2:30 today no greeting. salesperson was on phone texting was going to ask a question about 20in later but she was still on phone. I will not come back horrible service.

The lady rolled our clothes up and shoved in a bag.. so strange and no they were not busy.

Great customer service as always. I wish they had more options tho. A lot of the clothing I buy is from their website or other stores in KCMO or another state.

No one at your company cares about the people stuck without merchandise and out money. Give this message to your directors and board members. Telling us future orders will ship quicker than a month later (or more) does not matter when we will no longer be customers. I will never shop with you again. Every time you have been contacted about the order you say it cannot be cancelled, but then you push the ship date out even further. You know you are behind on orders, yet you keep promoting more sales. You announced over 30 days ago that you had shipping issues and they would be taken care of. They are not. My order should have been here according to the estimated ETA when I placed my order, and it still has not even shipped. Get the bottleneck taken care of instead of throwing more into the mix. Or maybe this is your goal? One final hurrah before going out of business?
