The front desk clerk could use a refresher course in customer service. Instead of greeting you and asking how she can help, she immediately starts shouting commands at you. While I was patiently waiting for the customers in front of me to finish, she kept yelling at me to 'bring your envelope here!' even though I wasn't just dropping off an envelope and was perfectly content to wait my turn. She never asked, "are you just dropping off?" She might benefit from a training that teaches her to ask questions that help her know what the customer needs help with. Most days I have the patience for her, but today was just too much. I'm ready to start going to a different location to avoid her.

There should be a mental competency test to work at the post office because clearly there is none and anyone can walk off the street and get a job. Being qualified competent and capable are not attributes you need to work here. So now me and the retards are going back and forth once again. When are they going to completely eliminate this useless service.

My package came beat up box is crushed and bent in and dented in! There is even a sticker that says handle with care fragile thank you. You guys need to get a new team! Because this is ridiculous. People pay good money for their items and for shipping! The least you can do is treat the packages a little better!!

I love it when they say it'll be delivered on time then it doesn't show up. So what's the point of saying that's going to show up and doesn't. You guys shouldn't be saying nothing unless you can't hold it to 100%

The ladies there were rude. When we first got there we sounded the bell and we could hear the ladies talking in the back. One lady came forth to let us know that the other was on her way. A few more people came in who asked us to sound the bell again. Once again the same woman said the other was on her way about 20 minutes later I sounded the bell once more. The lady finally comes to the counter. Only to be rude and tell us to leave

I've been to this post office at least a half a dozen times over the last 3 months and I've always had a good experience, each time handled by 'Catherine' who's obviously totally focused, knowledgable and cares about her customers. She's aware of the line out front and who's standing in it. Yesterday she actually asked a man to leave until he could wear a required mask, he was way down the line and I was amazed she even saw him as busy as she was. (He returned shortly wearing one.) She also advised me once that I was using a regular Priority Box and that I could use a Flat Rate box instead to save money. I can't see behind the wall at the front counter, but I can tell these guys are bust'n their butts getting it done –at least her. I know it's not across the board because I've heard the horror stories in other places, but like most other frontline workers, I know they're probably overworked more than other government workers, so I try to give 'em a break by being as pleasant and patient as possible. Honestly, I don't know how they do it. Anyway, big kudos to Catherine. She's a credit to her profession.

The folks who work at the downtown branch post office are the laziest people I have ever come across. Even before covid they couldn't man the window let alone take or deliver packages. Never get the correct mail, have carry to others they put in my box.I was under the impression that they took a test to get the job. Too many uneducated employees here.

No, DO NOT GO HERE. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever had in a post office. Unless I did something perfect the lady yelled at me. She literally told me that I shouldn’t be writing the label at the table you’re supposed to be doing it at. And she screamed at everyone who didn’t have a mask on, it was ridiculous. I would give a lower rating if I could. Definitely go somewhere else.

Some of the women here have really nasty attitudes. There is one lady who always seems to be in a decent mood and nice when we have had to get passport things done, the others are usually just not that kind. I would use another post office

This post office is disgusting! The service is totally unprofessional and exceedingly rude. I came in for a change of address form and was told at the entrance to the waiting line to pull up my mask. I did immediately not knowing it was very slightly off my nose. I approached the counter, asked for my form, meanwhile the clerk talked to an exiting employee behind her(who had no mask at all on). When I inquired why she didnt advise the fellow employee to put on her mask she replied "She don't have to, she work here". She then said " You go on fill out your paper and mind yo business " I replied it is my business and she again said "Mine yo business and fill out yo paper and get out". I couldn't because there were no pens in the whole post office. She raised her voice , was rude , unprofessional, and I am complaining up the ladder. She needs to find another employer! I went to the North Topeka branch immediately afterward and received excellent service. It's time this branch either listens to the complaints or shuts down. This isnt the post office of the United States that I live in, it's a waste of money.

A package vital to my families well being has been sitting in california for nearly a week waiting for a label reprint from the shipper. They are able to identify my package through the tracking number and they are able to print labels when customers ship packages. Why is my family in danger when you can print the damn label yourself? Get my package to me today! Inexcusable!
