“I was unable to get our quickly declining dog in with our primary vet so we scheduled an appointment same day with Dr Brown. She was incredibly caring and even called in to check on her daily. Unfortunately she continued to decline and we had to euthanize her. I cannot remember the vets name who performed the procedure (Dr brown was off that day) because I was so upset but she and the whole office were incredibly compassionate and respectful. I was allowed to hold her through the whole procedure and they offered a cozy blanket and a burial bag to bring her home in as we chose to bury her at home.”

“Took our granddogs to get groomed & 1 vaccine expired yesterday, mind you it was a Sunday. We don't ever get our vaccines early. Drove 40 minutes to get there. Seemed as if they know when we came in it was expired. No phone call, had no where to take the dogs as arrangements were made around the dogs getting dropped off. Very unhappy, looked like it was because they really didn't want to work today. Very rude & unprofessional. 0 for customer service. Had our other dog to drop off as well but due to the way we were treated we didn't feel comfortable leaving him there. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE!”

“I have been taking my dogs and cats there for ten years and always leave impressed with the quality of care I get. Don’t get me started on the staff; they’re brilliant and I’ll talk your ear off about em.
In fact I don’t even live in Topeka. I drive about 45 minutes out of my way to make sure my pets get the best I can give em.
Just as an example, my GSP Bobby was two years old when he first went to StoneHouse. Over the years he regularly got all routine medical care on schedule keeping him absolutely healthy. Then a day came when he got life saving care. Bobby ate something he picked up in the field, was very, very, sick, and required days of hospitalization. The staff there not only kept him alive but frequently called to give me updates. Bobby is now 12 years old and he’s getting geriatric care from StoneHouse keeping him up and active in the field.
Finally, I know from experience with my other dogs, (I had 6!) when that day comes we as pet owners fear but know is coming……when that day comes, both dog and owner get the best compassionate care StoneHouse can provide. They have a special room set aside just for owners to say goodbye in a private, comfortable space, providing as much time as I needed to compose myself for the drive home.
From puppies and kittens to geriatric dogs and cats, StoneHouse provides excellent care. I can’t recommend them highly enough.”
“Dr. Fouse and her staff are incredible. We started going here a few weeks ago when our cat got very sick all of the sudden. They got us in that same day and really took their time to hear us out with everything going on. Sadly, we had to put our cat down a few days ago, but Dr. Fouse was so caring and incredible during this time. They are also one of the cleanest and best prices we have ever seen in a vet before. We will be getting our dogs scheduled with them from here on! Highly, highly recommend this place!!”
“Dr Schormann and staff at Gage Animal Hospital are wonderful! My cat had a sudden injury caused by human error after 4PM. After calling multiple vet offices in the surrounding area and being turned away Gage Animal Hospital saw him and treated him immediately. Dr. Schormann did not judge me(as I was judging myself). They provided care that included a minor procedure on the spot(less than 2 hrs before closing time). We found our new veterinarian and I will send my friends and family there too.”
