Best fried chicken around! We called and gave short notice on needing a big order the day before. Wasn’t a problem and was very good!

It's okay. It's nothing like when Terry and Jerry owned it back in the day. Back then that store had everything,the owners both worked their everyday. Some of the nicest people, we sure do miss them having it.

Excellent meat department and butcher will do special cuts. Wondering about new owners, as shelves have been unexpectedly empty. Have always enjoyed shopping here.

This is a great little store. There is a deli counter, a great selection of meat, good produce, a small bakery section, and a good selection of other items. The employees are very helpful and sweet, and always offer to help you to the car with your groceries. It's definitely a hidden gem!

Friendly employees, produce was limited as they just removed anything that was questionable, so they do have fresh produce.

My wife went in for Chester's Chicken before 6pm on numerous occasions and each time they had shut down the friers and put away the chicken at some point before she arrived. No hours of operation posted anywhere, except Sunday hours (after I post this that will change). Her last time (4:30 pm ON A WEEK EVENING) she saw the manager or owner hiding in the back while she was left to vocalize her displeasure to an employee. Disgraceful! Their deli policy is a good way to end the deli completely, and possibly the store. Take your money and go to the gas station, Atchison, or Holton.

Small town grocery store with a full service meat case, also a small deli. They just changed owners and do not have lottery, wic, and a few other things right now.
