Pomona State Park is a large campground with several different loops and good signage. The park and trails are very well maintained, with primitive walking trails around the lake. The facilities are nice and clean, including the toilets. There is plenty of shade, a picnic area with tables, a playground for small children, and a dog area. The staff is friendly and has been known to go above and beyond, even delivering wood to camp sites and providing water bottles for hiking groups. The park organizes events like concerts and vintage trailer rallies. It is close to good food and offers plenty of options to enjoy the lake, where visitors can see lots of deer. Some note a need for more restrooms and better storm guidance.
PLENTY of camping spots to choose from. $5 for a day pass , $12 for a camping pass. Bring water shoes! Very rocky. Plenty of people out fishing as well. Wish I brought a fishing rod myself!

We've always liked this place. Big roomy sites, most with shade. 50/30/20 electric and water hookups. Park has several playgrounds and toilets. There is a marina and a few other boat ramps. They rent cabins and have disc golf. Shower house at north end.
