The store sells tobacco and customers can save more with the myDG program. Many customers love this store and can always find what they are looking for, noting the staff is always friendly even when understaffed. Some find the store looks awesome with polished floors, stocked shelves, and pleasant employees. However, there is a strong feeling that the store needs to be bigger. The aisles are not wide enough and there is not enough room for supplies to be shelved, which leads to clutter and makes it hard to see items. Some shelving is too close to the floor, requiring customers to bend down, and the store does not look neat. It is seen as a monumental need for this community, as a bigger store would provide a more pleasant atmosphere and enjoyable shopping experience. The store is always busy and makes plenty of money, so a larger location would likely bring in even more.
Went to DG today and the store looks awesome! The floors were polished, shelves were stocked, no freight in the isles! The employees have always been very pleasant!! Keep it up! Wamego

There were about 18 people in line and one young man working the register. I waited in line for about ten minutes before I gave up. He was doing a great job but why are there not any more cashiers to help?

Shelf prices and ads frequently don’t ring up for the correct price at the register. I have to wait for a manager, show them the tag on the shelf, and then argue/defend the price discrepancy.
