Their pupusas are great! They have great service, and I’ve also gotten take-out several times. They’re open a bit later than other pupuserias, which is a plus.

The owner and her husband are so sweet! I always feel very welcomed and treated like family! I love the fried Tilapia!!! It’s seasoned to perfection, I always ask for the head to be removed ?? it just grosses me out as if it's looking at me so the owner is always very kind with my request removing that part. She never makes me feel like it's a burden or inconvenience.

Horrible service. My fiancé and I were traveling through and decided to stop and eat. We’ve been here an hour and have only received our drinks. Another group of people got here after us, and they gave them chips and salsa and never came to our table. Horrible communication! Horrible service! Wish I would’ve gone somewhere else. Now Im an hour behind, with 5 hours to go on the road. Don’t come here unless you want to wait an hour & a half to eat.

I was in Wichita and searching Yelp for the top rated Mexican Food and ran into this little gem. Mexican it is not, actually Salvadoran which I had never tried before. The enchilada's were the best that I have ever eaten. I had a combination of steam, chicken, and cheese with onions. Momma even made them red and green at my request. The refried beans were so silky and smooth.

This place is a hidden gem. The owner and her assistant are wonderful hosts and the food is not doubt authentic. They prepare the food fresh and their tacos are wonderfully refreshing. I cannot believe it took us this long to discover it.

As other reviews have said- don't let the neighborhood scare you away from DELICIOUSNESS! Everything we ordered was so DAMN GOOD! The service was very friendly and the next time we're in Wichita we'll make a point to come back

The ladies were friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the pupusas. The food is made to order so I had to wait a few minutes but it was worth the wait. The fried fish was so yummy!!! It's a great deal. You get rice, beans, salad. The enchiladas were also delicious. You get tortillas. We ordered the first thing listed under the antojitos. I don't remember but it's the orange dough pocket stuffed with veggies and meat. It comes with pickled cabbage and salsa. The interior is really neat with the decorative murals. I also like the artsy wooden booths. The only complaint I have is that they took a while with bringing the food out. Oh, the coffee is amazing. It's infused with spices or something. Yum!

Don't let the neighborhood prevent you from trying this place. Excellent food, good service, average prices. Be forewarned that there is no bathroom available for guests. If that's a dealbreaker for you, try them on a delivery service - even the average item can come through as something special.
