I lost a stone in my wedding ring. I was referred to Steve at Athena Jewelry by more than one person. (I have wanted to have my ring soldered for many years but have had trust issues so I wanted to make sure I left my ring with the right person / business.) Steve took a look at my ring said he would need to order the matching stone. He also showed me the wear and tear that my ring had endured over many years. When I went to pick up my ring, I was amazed at how beautiful it was once again. He even soldered it for me and made it look brand new. It looks better now that it did on my wedding day!! I was MORE than happy with my ring and was extremely grateful for what he charged me, as I assumed that it would be more. Steve is very personable, kind and professional. I highly recommend Athena Jewelry!!!

Do NOT trust these people!My wife and I went in months ago to design a custom ring for her and order a simple band for me. The process of sketching out the ring was fun and I left my mother's ring and some diamonds with him to use. He said he probably wouldn't have it done by Christmas and we said that was okay. This was around December 2nd last year. We didn't hear back from him for over two months. We eventually went in and asked if it was done. He said he was still working on the custom one and that he still hadn't ordered my band. We waited a few more weeks and didn't hear back yet again. Not even a call letting us know it would take longer. He then told us it would be ready to pick up at the end of the week, five weeks in a row!!! Each time with a lamer excuse of why it was taking so long. Eventually I realized he was lying and taking advantage of us. I went in and demanded my property back. At first he only gave us back the ring, we then reminded him we left diamonds with him as well. He then gave us a bag labeled 'diamonds' which ended up being mostly cubic zirconium fakes. My wife told him that they were not the diamonds we left with him and he asked if we are sure and pretended to apologize about the mix up and then brought out what I can only hope are the diamonds I left with him. They are real at least. I handed him the first bag he gave us back to him and he said we can keep it. Because he knew they are fakes obviously.I have no idea why I had such a horrible experience with them while it seems other have good things to say but, beware.

Steve did some jewelry repairs and appraisals for us last year. He was very thorough and expedient with the appraisals and repairs. Steve enlarged a channel diamond ring for me when other jewelers said it couldn't be done. He repaired a couple of broken diamond guard rings and in the process of doing so suggested a better way to repair them so it wouldn't happen again. They had been custom made by another jeweler and had been repaired before. As one of the other reviewers stated, they were "sparkly and shinny" and maybe more so than when they were new. He cleaned all the rings we had appraised and they too were "sparkly and shinny." Steve and his staff were all professional and friendly. We will be using Athena for all our jewelry needs now and in the future.

I had the best experience getting my engagement and wedding rings soldered together. The service was quality and super fast.The employees are so nice and so helpful!If you want something done quickly, I recommend calling before going in to let them know you are coming. They are very accommodating.I will definitely return in the future!
