A place I could trust to have my Jeep fixed from hail damage. Personnel have worked there a long time and know what they're doing.

I have experienced an incredibly frustrating and upsetting 4-month ordeal with David R., the manager at Gerber Collision & Glass on Ridge Road. When I first received my vehicle back, I was shocked by the poor quality of the work — several areas were still damaged or completely missed. When I went in person with my fiancé to show David the problems, he refused to even look at the damage. He repeatedly interrupted me, not allowing me to finish a single sentence. When my fiancé tried to speak, David also ignored him. We both left feeling disrespected, unheard, and dismissed. Since then, I have spent hours on the phone, often in tears, trying to get help from Claims and my insurance company. I ultimately had to involve them to make David and Gerber re-do the substandard repairs. Throughout the entire process, David displayed unprofessional, aggressive behavior, lacked empathy, and showed zero regard for customer concerns. After all this, I am still deeply concerned about whether my vehicle is safe to drive. I have lost time, money, peace of mind, and trust in this business.

if i could give this 0 stars i would do so. do NOT work with chad. Brought my car here after my boyfriend hit it, BARELY HIT IT. They supposedly “fixed” the car. My dad looked at it when we got home and even more damage was done to the car, they just made the outside look pretty. We brought the car back to Gerber, they then told us that the damage that was NOT there before, was from another accident. I have not gotten into another accident. my car is new, i literally JUST bought it. But since we didnt have photos of the before we “didnt have proof” it was them. So we got my car back after i think they “fixed it” more. driven it to school and back for THREE DAYS and its leaking transmission fluid. Im a 16 year old girl who just spent my savings ive saved since i was 7 on this car. And now I cant drive it. Im back to my old, 2003, highlander, with A LOT of miles, And breaks down every day. Thank you so much chad. really appreciate it.
Edit: I just looked through the reviews of this place and Im seeing that this is not the first time this has happened to people, aka severe damage to the radiator. these guys just shove everything into place and make the outside look pretty, hoping their customers don't look further into detail. this is the Gerber on Ridge Road, to be exact just btw. im not good at explaining things well, since im a 16 year old girl, but basically my car was hit on the driver side near the headlight, so it was the front bumper area that needed to be fixed. The metal bar that is under the front bumper was smashed in when i got my car back (the only thing in support of the front bumper) and my radiator was completely smashed in. Now its leaking transmission fluid.

Some of the worst customer service. The technician had an awful attitude. My car took way too long to be repaired and it was only after my insurance company withdrew payment they did anything. The front desk staff was also rather impolite. The only personable staff I talked to was the manager, but again, that was after my insurance withdrew payment and was going to move my car elsewhere. I would avoid this shop if possible.

My car sustained scuff and paint damage to its rear bumper and quarter panel while parked in a parking lot. I took my car to Gerber Collision on 3131 Ridge Road in Wichita to repair the damage, which was covered by the other driver’s insurance policy.
The first repair attempt only took a few days, but missed an obvious extrusion mark on the new bumper cover and a small white scuff on the quarter panel from the collision. They agreed to repair the scuff and the extrusion. While repairing the scuff, they chipped paint on the quarter panel. These repairs took over a week (including Gerber waiting on the insurance company), extending into an international business trip. Gerber agreed to cover rental car costs that insurance wouldn’t, but I was still getting phone calls from the rental car company while I was working in Germany, days after Gerber agreed to cover the rental car.
They were successful in repairing the scuff and the extrusion mark, and the repair is of good quality, despite a corner on the bumper cover being slightly misshapen.
Despite being satisfied with the final repair, Gerber’s lack of quality control caused me considerable inconvenience, and I cannot recommend them.

Love this place. Other places may be faster, but what corners are they cutting?

From the start, I had a bad vibe. I was sent here by an insurance company for an estimate. This location first stated they could not help me, and sent me to another location. The second location informed me the first location was where I needed to be. The second location was very helpful in getting the first location to help me. After returning to the first location they took pictures and said they would get my estimate written up. The guy that took the pictures acted like he didn't want to do it. Needless to say, they didn't get to do my repairs.

My wife had her vehicle repairs done at this facility. My one-star rating is not about how the car looks. It looked good, and even the paint job was amazing. However, whoever installed the parts caused serious damage to the radiator when they installed the front bumper. There were screws in places that didn't require any, which ultimately caused a hole in the radiator. Keep in mind that this SUV is only three years old.

I am so thankful that this was the first place my insurance company recommended. They were so kind when they did the initial walk around and estimate. I scheduled to bring my car back at a time that worked for me. The inside desk staff person was very kind and professional. My car was done quickly and it was done well. But beyond that, there were some places on the side of my car (far away from the bumper that I was there to have replaced) and THEY FIXED THOSE FLAWS WITHOUT CHARGING ME! Who does that anymore? It was such a delight to see that they saw something and just made it look better. When one gets in an accident, the hassle of getting body work done can be overwhelming. These folks were so kind, did excellent work, and went above and beyond what I paid for. I highly recommend. ?

They did great work on my traverse!!I thought it would have been totaled, (15k in damage) the whole passenger side front to back was trashed from an accident. While it did take 2 months to repair the outcome was worth it! The best part is I payed nothing out of pocket and didn’t have to deal with the insurance company after I filed my claim ?Thank you thank you!!

Got the car fixed early. That's a plus. Only reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 star was they had left hologram on paint from polishing
