I have banked with Bank of the West for about 20 years (They were Commercial Federal back then). This new company that bought out BotW is terrible. Bank of Montreal or BMO. I haven't had access to my account for the last six days. Over a holiday I couldn't online bank, check my balance (online or over the phone) and then when I was told I'd have access, the app was not user friendly and wouldn't acknowledge verified information to log me in. I thought it was dumb to do this over a holiday and then it occurred to me, of course Bank of Montreal doesn't care about American holidays. So that's what the BMO banking experience is going to be. I'm moving over to USAA.

TERRIBLE SLOW BANK. will take DAYS for your check to show up in your account. No other banks in town are this slow. Will hold your check for days no matter how long you’ve been banking here. Ridiculous.

These are some of the rudest people working in banking. I recently had a name change and signed my paycheck with previous name and new name. The teller wouldn't let my boyfriend deposit the check. She said this wasn't allowed. He had to call me during work to get my social security number or account number as she wouldn't deposit it. It's not like she couldn't find it, it was her refusing to deposit it. This bank is just getting worse and worse. They are not even open normal bank hours.

OMG JACKEY!!!Right there at the front desk! She’s first of all so Adorbs with her hair and outfit.Second, I have hella anxiety in general but Jackey looked at me right as I walked in and asked how she could help me with a smile on her face!She went above and beyond and made sure that she fixed my problem with sending money to my fiancé. She even asked questions to the customer support person on the phone before hanging up that I would be scared to ask. Then she explained everything to me and just made sure I was good before leaving the bank.I have anxiety, PTSD, depression, and it makes it hard to do the simplest things in my everyday life. To some people this probably is a silly thing to be grateful for but Jackey, thank you. Sincerely. You are so kind, so thorough, and genuine. That’s rare in todays world! You are a rock star ? ❤️ Have the best day!

I just went by the downtown bank and it stated they were temporarily closed. Such poor service.

This bank will randomly hold on you paycheck when you use the "convenient and safe online mobile app". The check has cleared my employers account but is being held for 10 days because well they can. All I get from customer service is a sorry and don't use mobile deposit in the future. Ive used mobile deposit for years with no issues. This is not how a long time customer should be treated. They don't care about you, if you got money to eat, or money to by gas to get to work. I work a full time job but now have overdrafts and extra fees because of the situation this bank has put me in. They're not to be trusted.

If I could put zero stars I would they didn’t even protect an online purchase … I also have never been able to get a loan from them even though I opened the account with a huge chunk of change they are also the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with I am transferring all funds this week absolutely worst bank in Kansas

terrible customer service. I have been trying to get a pay off credited to my account now for a month. I have a copy of the cheek sent for pay off stamped that they received the check on 3-15-21, however they state all 3 times I called them from 3/16 to 4/2 that they had not received the check from the credit union for the pay off. I have spent time on numerous calls , the credit union finally stopped payment on the first check and overnighted them another check, they deposited that check and tried to deposit the first check also both on 4-7-21. everyone I speak to can not do anything to help get this completed.... they all say i have to talk to there manager , but the managers are always in meetings ... how convenient. i have never had this much trouble paying off a loan. so now they are charging my account late fees because I did not make my payment due on 3/23/21, however they had the payoff check all along!!! WOW LOOKS LIKE THINGS ARE NOT ONE PROFESSIONALLY AS IT SHOULD BE AT A BANK.... I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW OF THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT HAS TAKE A MONTH TO PAY OFF A LOAN- DO NOT BANK WITH BAK OF WEST - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

After jumping through hoops regarding a CD at the Winfield branch we decided to come here. Doug Shaffer was kind, helpful, respectful and professional. He handled our needs in a timely manner with no hassle. Thank you for saving our day.
