My daughter and I (using AARP discount) the customer representative was very rude with my daughter when she went to go pick up the car. Then she refused to accept the identification document she provided (school bill). My daughter does not have utility bills in her name as she lives in her own home on my husband and my property. So she was not allowed to rent the vehicle vehicle even though she has already paid for it in full online. She was then told she would have to wait 3-10 days for her funds to be refunded. So very unhappy with Budget!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. I’ve been to this location twice and the employee “Chuck” has been incredibly rude to me. My first interaction I picked up a vehicle and it was a whole issue of me using a different card then what I put on the reservation which I didn’t understand how that would cause such an attitude from the worker. Then I ended up needing the vehicle an extra day, I called the establishment 4 different times and was unable to get through. Called customer service twice and was told since they’re separately owned that I’d have to speak to them to extend the rental. Transferred me and sent to vm both times. Happened on a Saturday and there closed Sunday so had no choice for it to be 2 days overdue. Come Monday Chuck texts me and says “call me to avoid further problems” what problem? The fact that you don’t answer the phone to your customers? Do your job and there wouldn’t be problems. Didn’t go here for awhile because of how rude he was but decided to give it another shot and yet again he was rude on the second interaction. Just avoid this Budget. Chuck represents Budget negatively. I’ve went to others and their extremely nice and courteous.

Rude Customer Service Representative (Valarie). Questions asked at checkout were invasive. Extremely inconvenient policies, such as the person renting has to be the same person that is paying (without a company credit card this is a real pain). Also they will not take a debt card, only credit cards.

There were NO available rental cars in Wichita today except at Budget. I obtained a reservation over the phone for my stepdaughter to travel for her stepfather's funeral, prepaid and went to this location to pick it up. When it was stated the destination was New York state (rural NY), we were informed a car could not rented after all. The person called someone and then confirmed a car would not be provided. I contacted corporate and was told there is no corporate policy but an individually licensed location could have additional policies.The person reported all 4 locations are independently licensed. The explanation was something about lawsuits and no one could figure out why that was the case. Very frustrating during a heartbreaking time.

Rented a vehicle to take a 3 hour trip. Initially put in for a small to midsize sedan, due to them being good in gas and with the gas prices being as high as they are. Show up to rent the car. The gentleman helping me decides to give me a 2021 4Running TRD. That is definitely not a small to midsize sedan. I ask him why I received this car when it’s no where close to what I ordered. He tells me my 2 options are that or a 15 passenger van. Well needing to get on the road asap I took the 4Runner and spent double on gas as I would of with the vehicle I requested. Definitely will not rent here again as to this has happened multiple different occasions with my family. If you want what you actually request then don’t come here and go anywhere else

Not a great experience after I dropped off the rental. I realized I had left a personal item in the truck and tried to call. The automated system was terrible and couldn't get through close to closing time. The next morning I made I drove on site to try and retrieve the item. I was hopeful as the truck was still there however my item was not. It had been "cleaned" but mysteriously the item has disappeared. I take some ownership in that I made the mistake of leaving the item but really wish employees would think of their customers instead of having a finders keepers mentality.

Unfortunately, the rental office policies versus the corporate call center's policies (or understanding of policies) are drastically different. Showed up 25 mins late and was charged an entire additional day's worth of renting a vehicle. Call Center says the grace period is 45 mins but the office location says 20-25 mins per the manager at this location. I tried calling the location three times before speaking to the call center.. and this was at 4 PM.. when they are still open.

I've rented from this place 3 times in the last couple years. Everytime a great experience. Representatives at the store are always nice and informative. Only issue is budgets customer service on the phone since it transfers you to a foreigner you can barely understand. Not this locations fault but be aware of that.

Do not offer refund after cancellation after requiring you do everything but sign in blood just to rent. Horrible service. For as long as I live I will avoid ever using Budget.

Upon renting my car I chose the prepaid option as we all know you get a great discount doing that. My company put it on the card as they were taken care of the car for me and when I pick it up I use my own card for incidentals as always. I didn't have the company card on me but since they knew me all I had to do was show a picture and I approve the last four digits of my card which I did. I rented the car last Tuesday night. It is now been one week. As of last night my personal debit card was charged. They said the prepaid amount never went through on the other card so they went ahead and just charged my own debit card for the whole rental. Without even telling me. I tried to call the corporate office today and reach some lady named Kathy. She was horribly rude and even hung up on me. I then called the other budget office to talk to Chuck who then told me the manager Adam was not available but he could transfer me to his voicemail. At that time I left a voicemail on what's going on and to return my call. In the meantime another lady from the N. Ridge Rd. office just called and was very very rude. She told me "don't go there" when I told her that she's the one that told me to show her a picture of the card that it was booked on....And also authorize the last four digits which we did. I asked her if anyone called to tell me my personal card was being charged and she said no that I should've looked Myself on the other corporate account to see if that charge ever went through. I even told her I thought she was trying to cover her butt and if she would've been nice I've just been honest that maybe I would've said OK let me help you out but she was unbelievably rude I just can't even believe it . Again my company got that car for me so how would I have known to even look to see if it went through. She was very short and rude with me. All I could do is say thank you I'm handling it and have a nice day. And then I hung up. Horrible experience horrible customer experience all the way around. I think Chuck is the same guy that's been there for years he's always been a nice guy. But after getting my bag stolen in the past from the place by an employee and now this and other things I guess I'm just done now. That's sad.Do not recommend this place especially if the lady is working the desk. After the s*** here everyone's how the last thing we need a shitty customer service. And to get taken advantage of. Thanks s budget for screwing up my account I may have an a takeoff work to deal with the after effects. And thanks for not giving a s****

Apparently they're too rich to answer their own phone The international people say why aren't you calling one local I said this is the number under their sign I don't know what to tell you so then I tried it again same thing well I guess someone else will want my money worse than you do sucks to be you people
