“This organization, and every member in it, are so dedicated and committed to helping the community. Stephanie Johnson, one of Wichita’s Littlest Heroes staff, pours her whole heart into supporting Wichita’s Littlest Heroes, and it truly shows. She works to raise awareness and funding for the kids they serve, and the passion she brings to the mission is something you feel immediately. Whether she’s organizing events, connecting with families, or partnering with local businesses, she’s always focused on making sure these children and their families never feel alone or without. Wichita’s Littlest Heroes is stronger because of her commitment, and our community is stronger because of this organization.

If you are looking for a great way to give back, partner with Wichita’s Littlest Heroes - I highly recommend it.”

“You have to be referred here by another business but I love this place everyone is friendly and helpful here. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They have parent & new mom classes & not sure what other classes they have here on different days of every month. They also have a little store where you can buy gently used baby items. They also have an incentive program where you can earn baby bucks to use in there store or pick diapers, baby wipes or formula for your incentive whichever one you want.”

“I originally had a negative experience calling in to donate some equipment but the director Drew reached out to me directly to talk about my experience. Everyone has bad days and I really appreciate Drew reaching out because that makes all the difference in these situations. He was able to inform me that corrective action was taken and I don’t think one persons bad day should represent an entire company. Thanks Drew for making sure I was able to get this equipment donated.

See original review below:

I just had an incredibly rude experience with whoever answers the phone. The website specifically states to call before bringing in DME equipment. I called to ask what I needed to do to bring in a CPAP to donate and instead of helping me, she decided to challenge me about why I called and why it wouldn’t be okay to just bring it in. The website specifically states to call before bringing in this equipment. Thankfully I did call and get this rude response because I know where not to donate equipment now. I was thankful to find a local nonprofit to donate to but clearly this equipment and the people who need it are not valued here.”

“Thank God for the clothes closet. My weight fluctuates on a monthly basis sometimes due to my diabetes and it’d be extremely costly accommodating my weight gain and loss so the clothes closet is a blessing to me. Thank You!!”

“HopeNet is the real deal, folks.I never thought therapy was for me until I took the step to try it, and it has been life-changing! The HopeNet Team, from the support staff to therapists/counselors, truly cares about their clients.I had the privilege to work with Aaron and Adena. They both provided a safe place for me to share my feelings without judgment and guided me to a better place. If you are struggling in any way, I encourage you to give HopeNet a chance. “I have been a YMCA member for about 10 years and this is definitely my favorite location. I love the large windows around the track, cardio and weights are separate, and the kid's area is secluded from the work out areas/ locker rooms. Men and women also have their own steam rooms/saunas. Over the past several years, I've seen the management evolve. The staff is always nice (minus a couple creepy ones in the past), especially the gentleman in the morning and the longer, curly haired gentleman in the afternoon at the front desk. Cleaning has gotten much better lately! My ONLY complaint is that I get MRSA extremely easily and whatever disinfectant is in their spray bottles, I don't think works against MRSA/Staph. Luckily, I've learned how to catch it early and have prescription topical solutions for it. However, it almost killed me in 2018 and the doctors and I narrowed it down to the gym as the source. (This is VERY common at every gym and not everyone is highly reactive to this bacteria). I would be inclined to give this gym a 5/5 if the cleaning practices were a bit better (which they have improved dramatically over the past year) and their cleaning solution given to patrons was seemingly more effective.”

“The Goodwill branch on Oliver, is the main hub for all the Goodwill locations in south central Kansas, so it is normally much better stocked, and has more and better items than the other ones.It also has at least 4 changing rooms, 2 restrooms, handicapped parking and access, and a massive parking lot with plenty of spaces. It also has a large covered delivery area, so even if it is pouring rain, anyone donating can do so comfortably unaffected.”

“I’ve been going to MHA for outpatient therapy for about four years now, and I truly can’t recommend their services enough. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming, the medication management team is incredibly accommodating, and the CBT I’ve received has been life-changing. MHA has been a key part of making my life worth living, and I’m so grateful for the care, compassion, and support I’ve received here.”

“Was a great place to work and multiple departments have been helpful to my clients over the years assisting with case management, psychosocial programs and other valuable services. It is unfortunate there are reviews on here by an individual who is blasting some guy (possibly rightfully so) who is associated with South Central Mental Health and Counselling Center (SCMHCC), which is NOT MHASCK. Irresponsible reviewing of business when one isn't even reviewing the correct business is probably the biggest complaint I have of Google Reviews, there is no way to reverse it, so it is stuck out here on the internet and those who don't fully do their homework assume it is true. :-(”
