You really have to watch the pricing of all of there items, I bought 76 items and 52 of them had the wrong price. If I wouldn't have been paying attention, it would have cost me 82.34 more at check out. The store manager made me take her back through the store and show her every single tag. Which was unacceptable cuz that doubled my trip time

Dillons is the grocery store where I do almost all my shopping—groceries, pet food and care, deli, pharmacy, bakery, and other beauty and hygiene products. They are always helpful and resourceful. I mostly do pickup orders, with the occasional delivery, but I do still shop in the store from time to time as needs require. They recently rearranged (Summer, 2025) their aisles. It makes more sense now. Their prices have dropped on many items as well.

They need to be less worried about having 2 different self checkout areas open at the same time, and have one of those workers just run a checkout line. It's crazy to think a person is going to check out an entire cart of groceries themselves. If I wanted to do that job I would have put an application in.

I was very disappointed with the Bakery Department at Dillon’s. I placed a custom cake order for pickup on 8/17. About an hour before pickup, I received a text that my order was canceled. Shortly after, a man called and explained the cancellation was due to one of the decorators quitting, leaving only one decorator who wasn’t working that day.
When I asked if the order could be moved since I actually needed the cake for Wednesday, the employee assured me it was rescheduled and that I did not need to redo the order. Unfortunately, Wednesday came and there was no confirmation, no cake, and no communication.
This was very frustrating as I had ordered ahead specifically for a birthday, and the last-minute cancellation left me with no backup plan. I completely understand staffing issues happen, but I would have appreciated clear communication if fulfilling the order wasn’t going to be possible.
Hopefully, management can improve consistency and communication going forward.

Today, there was only one checker, all of the self checkouts were overflowing. A guy in the checkers lane was trying to use a coupon or something, and the line just kept growing. By the time he decided to consider all of us while our groceries were melting and thawing out, my back was in severe pain. I love going to Dillons, but today made me aggravated a bit. Why was there only one checker?
