Terrible store. The staff are unfriendly and not helpful. I have found expired itemsin the store. I only shop here when I need something quick because of the above. Today two employees were smoking in the only path I could walk to get in the store. I had an asthma attack and saw an eyeroll from the young cart guy when I said something. It’s fine there are many places to shop so not a huge loss.

Yesterday (11/17/23) was my first time in this Dillons. I wanted deli chicken and I didn't want big box gross chicken, and my friend suggested that I go to Dillons. I just moved to the West side of town, so I decided to give it a shot.I went into the Deli and encountered the most lovely lady. Her name was Ms. Sherma. We chatted briefly and she was absolutely delightful. I ordered what I wanted and we chatted a bit more, then another very sweet lady, Joerita was working with her as well. She chatted for a moment as well, and both of these ladies were top notch customer service rock stars. The chicken was excellent. After work today (11/18) I decided to go back in there today to get a bit more chicken because it was so awesome.Sure enough, Ms Sherma was there, and recognized me right away. She recognized me immediately and just smiled great big and asked me if I came to give her a hard time, and we laughed a little. I asked her if they had what I wanted, and she doesn't cook, but she asked some lady that was working named Rose if they were cooking it, and that lady was blatantly disrespectful to Ms Sherma. She stated, "I don't know, I'm going on break," commenced to roll her eyes and sprint off. Terrible customer service and lack of team work.Ms Sherma found out how long it would take for my request and informed me. I went to walk around for a bit while waiting, and then ran into Joerita who was helping stock stuff on the floor in the deli area. She spoke to me and was very gentle and sweet.Ms Sherma and Joerita's attentiveness and excellent customer service ability went far above and beyond expectations. They were great. Also, today was Ms Sherma's Birthday! Everyone tell her Happy Birthday. Thank you Heather and Dillons for having awesome employees such as the above mentioned. They truly make a difference in Dillons customers shopping experience! Kuddos Ms Sherma and Joerita ❤️

The pharmacist, Mark G, is the absolute rudest, most disrespectful person I've come across in quite some time. I went to the Dillons off Maple & Maize 1st & they couldn't fill the medicine because they were out. So I took the paper prescription to this Dillons & my doctor wrote my PO Box address on the prescription. He's been doing this for years & no other pharmacist or pharmacy has ever had an issue with my address being a PO Box. Pharmacist Mark G came to the window and yelled at me, demanding a physical address. I explained to him that I've never had to give it out before & didn't feel comfortable writing on the prescription that my doctor already wrote on. He yelled that at "HIS" Dillons & this what's required. Just rude about the entire thing. When I picked up my medicine, I told him I wanted to give him a Google review & refused to give his name.?? Thank goodness it was on my prescription bottle. Mark G, I hope you have a better day & I'll never use this Dillons pharmacy again. He was just rude & especially to an Army Veteran.

This used to be my favorite Dillons, and would travel to this one even if it wasn’t close by. The customer service used to be great. I know this situation pertains to me, as I redeemed a rain check for .99 cent / lb ribs that were just on sale maybe 3 months ago for that price. The cashier didn’t want to honor it, but no where on the rain check does it have an expiration date. Thankfully the manager did honor it. I go in today and ask for a rain check on Green Giant vegetables, and the same cashier states they now have an 30 day expiration date, though it doesn’t say on the paper yet. She stated it was because someone brought in a rain check that “was 2 years old “ recently. I knew the situation pertained to me, and it definitely wasnt even close to 2 years old. They wouldn’t give me a rain check on the canned vegetables, stating it never should have been on the ad and they weren’t planning on getting a shipment in. Im tired of the prices constantly going up, the customer service declining and always getting fresh fruit that molds the next day.

Normally a great place to shop, staff is usually very friendly. Except for the guy tonight (09/17/2023) who was sitting at the front door with it locked 4 minutes before close and who shot daggers at me with his eyeballs when I came inside as he said "you have 3 minutes " in a disgusted tone. Hey buddy. I know perfectly well what time you close and I needed ONE thing at the front of the store. I was in and out in less than a minute. But thanks for making me feel SO welcome. As I said when I was leaving, sorry to have inconvenienced you so much by my 45 second transaction. You know, you are in a customer service position which YOU chose. Your employers should be aware of how you're treating people. I'm sure I wasn't the first and I won't be the last.

Used to love this store. Unfortunately their prices keep going up and service keeps going down. Usually only self checkout open. The frustrating part is trying to use self checkout and an item won’t scan. Then 3 employees standing next to you at checkout chit chatting oblivious to the customers. We now shop at Walmart market.

Dillons used to be a great store but that is a thing of the past. Their prices are ridiculous for the quality...would give anything to have a nice neighborhood store to go to. No more for me I will find anywhere else even if I have to drive out of town and have 2 Dillons within. 2 miles of home. Just went to 135th and Maple for a quick dinner after a busy day...spent almost 15.00 for chicken that had the consistency of jerky and nevermind the ice cold sides that were overpriced as well...maybe if I take the breading off my dogs can have it..if they eat it

I been coming to this Dillons for 6 years, and on this night (1-6-2023) at 735 pm was not a good experience. Now I know after 730 or so they mark the fried chicken down to $1.50, great bargain for my family of 5.So when I seen the girl marking it down, I asked for one and she gave with no problem, my husband says, may want to get another. The girl proceeds to tell me, my machine is broke as she printing another label, so I wait and then she throw the chicken up on the counter to me. I look at her like, WOW!! I see another lady standing behind waiting on chicken as well and she hands her one with a smile.Unsure what the young lady name is that was working on this night printing the barcodes for the chicken, but this is unacceptable by far. All staff is pretty friendly at this Dillons and unsure her problem. Please advise your employees to not pick and choose who they will be friendly to. You NEVER know who you’re waiting on!!

Dillons at 135th & West Maple is a fine local store. An asset to the Community. Busy store with all you'd expect to find. Like most stores now they're geared up for the Holidays; running all kinds of sales. Associates are eager to assist you with a professional attitude and smile. May you drop in soon and see if I'm not spot on with this review.Happy Holidays!

I've been shopping at this store since the day they opened. I've quit going to the Starbucks here because of attitude with the cashiers. Other than that I've never had an issue with the employees, they have ALWAYS been super nice and helpful....until today.Margaret, you really should smile once in a while. We don't want to spend our money at a place that the cashier makes you feel like you are an inconvenience

EDIT:Not 2 weeks after I posted this review, every single cart with the bad security wheel was fixed! So they must have known how horrible they were already and took action.End edit.My pet peeve with this particular Dillon's is the small carts.Every single one of them has that one security wheel stripped of its rubber coating. It makes for an extremely loud and shaky cart. They been this way for at least a year.I like this Dillon's because of the employees mostly. Most of them are very friendly, very attentive and helpful.Personable as wellAs far as everything else, it bothers me that I have to call customer service in order to get my earned fuel points put in my account. That's it, I'm satisfied with this location.

Harold at self checkout is a wonderful man. He makes my trips worth while. He makes me smile Everytime I go in he connects with me and at the least asks me how I am. I lost my Dad in April. Harold and my dad are around the same age. Believe it or not it has been nice to know there are sweet older men out there that are just plain kind. Thank you Harold.
