I have never had SO many consistent problems at a store until coming to this one. 8 times out of 10 I come into this dollar general the employee is no where to be found. 4 times in a row I have came in and stood at the counter for over 5 minutes while a worker is on their phone on the other side of the store. Multiple times a worker will be on a phone call with the speaker at FULL volume, cussing, and being rude to the customers in the store. VERY unprofessional. The teenage boy that works there has more respect and is way more attentive than the ladies. I will gladly drive all the way to the Pawnee DG instead because, just wow.

They have a homeless guy that hangs out there now with some mental issues and they won't get rid of him. Not really bothering people or hassling them, but it's uncomfortable because you just never know with them. Starting to attract more of them. Management refuses to do anything about it. Boycott the store and go to the one on Pawnee.

The most annoying thing is when Google says 10, but they close at 9, and you come at 8:50 for one thing, and the dude lock the door 10 mins early . So worried about getting out right after work. You have to close 10 mins early, just wow. Check what time this message is still posted before 9. I would have been in and out

Honestly, this is the worst dollar store I've ever been to. They've had some of the worst managers/employees since I've been living over here for the last year. There is never anything stocked in the store. Employees don't know what you want when you ask. Now they're in the habit of closing the store 10-15 minutes early and refusing to let customers in. I wouldn't shop here but it's the only one close to my house. The one on Central by the expressway is how all of them should be.

The customer service by Jose and Bethany is abhorrent. Jose throws accusations of stealing around to undeserving customers while him and Bethany steal the store blind every Thursday and Friday by carting out cartons and cartons of perishable goods to people of their choosing and of their timing. Look at the cameras and validate what I’m saying. Something is seriously wrong with this store and it definitely makes you wonder how their mismanagement influences the prices we as customers end up paying because of it.

By far the most disappointing influence on my opinions of local businesses. First off this review is developed over months of in store shopping. The discrepancies between service and employees is so outrageously apparent it is evident that management and corporate disregard quality for ego. The store is ran by Bethany as store manager and Jose as assistant manager and Joe as District manager. In this circle it reveals itself the habits of poor training. Poor store presentation and cleanliness. Poor hygiene. Poor customer relations and communications. And the total lack of professional courtesy extended to its community retail clients in many regards. This all reveals the poor training and practice of its own employee manuals rules and policies. When personal attitude becomes so egregiously existent that the attitude determines the decision instead of practiced published policy a store is doomed to a destined failure. When you compare the quality service of one of its employees like Nidia and her efficiency in both professional courtesy and exceptional performance to the others you wonder why she isn’t the manager ? Jose’s rudeness and short tempered attitudes along with sloppy work ethics mimic Bethany’s poor hygiene and managerial standards. These two obviously have a chemistry of subservience to District manager Joe that overrides anything probably observed in this customer’s lifetime as a shopper. A subservience that highlights inner buddy relations over customer service and store success. If it wasn’t for the convenience of location I wouldn’t ever shop at this store again. Jose talks to his customers like Bethany talks to her other employees. Rudely. Accusatorially. Unprofessionally. While on multiple occasions I’ve personally witnessed what under any light of interpretation the practice of company theft. Every week they have a delivery semi that provides restocking items. The management of this store by their discretion picks and chooses refrigerated items off the shelves every Thursday and or Friday. They than in a time of their own choosing wheel carts and cartons of these perishables out to the trash while people of their own choosing lay in wait to pack it vehicles. Never once any items making it into a dumpster. Let any other corporate body catch this behavior and immediate terminations along with criminal prosecutions would follow. This store is corrupt and self serving to its management and not the community it claims to serve. A shame on the corporate name.

We're very polite to me and my service animal nearly had anxiety attack when they noticed My Husky leaning against me and helping I was nervous they would kick her out but instead they help me as well and gave her treats for a job well done I'm forever grateful for that
