terrible customer service. call to ask if they had something in stock and the associate said she didn’t have time to look. I asked to be put on hold until she had time, she hung up on me. I called back to speak to a manager and no one ever picked up the phone. overall just rude.

I was in the store today just to pick up a few things when I overhear a conversation that required the F-word and vulgarity to be used a minimum of 10 times in just a couple of minutes. I shrugged it off and just figured it was a couple other customers. I walked to the front when I see the employee having this vulgar belligerent conversation with a customer. They were not arguing just talking. I put the things I grabbed back and left. Then come to find out the young lady is the assistant manager. Are things that bad out there that you hire employees like her? Sad really

The store manager of the store is very rude, and always has a bad attitude with customers. It’s mind boggling to me… if you don’t like your job then leave. No need to be negative for no reason, no one likes being around that

The Dollar general store on West Central near West Street make their own freaking hours if they don't feel like working they close early they already closed an hour early because they got robbed a while back now they're closing early when they feel like it they're closing now at 7:00 on a Saturday instead of at 9:00

I don't know I couldn't really find anything in here that was cheaper than Walmart even. There has been supply issues but the store was half empty. I would still recommend.

I have shopped at this store many times but I have never heard the Store Manager and Clerks treat a customer as bad as I did today. When I entered the store there was a customer at the front counter waiting to be checked out. I started shopping and had been there at least 10 minutes when the customer at the front asked nicely if there was anyone that could check her out that she had been waiting 15 minutes. Next thing I heard from one of the aisles a lady whom I could not see hollered to the back of the store that there was a "RUDE LADY AT THE FRONT THAT NEEDED HELP. " the other lady said in a nasty way that she would be there in a minute. This upset me as I am old school so I spoke up and let them know that was rude and the lady did not deserve that. I asked where is your customer service? The Manager jumped out around the corner at the end of the aisle and said to me if I did not want to shut up then she would make me leave. The other Clerk started cackling and that's when I left my cart and left the store. This is not acceptable behavior from store managers and staff. I will not shop any where that does not uphold quality or who has no Customer Service. That's how we were taught and we would not have been there any longer if we did what these people at this store did. I suggest you fire them all and get a new crew.
