Incredibly rude customer service at the checkout. I know it’s difficult to hire good people and this is the perfect example. Those employees should feel ashamed of themselves for the way they treat customers, but they seem to be proud of being rude. Sad for them.

Tired of ordering online and packages and boxes arriving damaged. Unsure why they always cut the top off of the shoe box, makes it look like a garage sale. If i purchase something full price or on sale I dont want a garage sale box. If you're going to keep sending damaged boxes I'll take my business elsewhere. Shipping standards/quality very low for online orders. Despite spending hundreds here since they moved to wichita, i am about to quit shopping here. If i wanted my purchase to look like I bought it from goodwill i would of shopped there instead. smh learn how to package shoes for mail delivery

Incredibly poor customer service. I bought items and the person who helped me (appeared to be a manager perhaps) was so incredibly rude to me and even their coworker who dared to try and ask them a question. I ended up returning the items the next day as I have decided I do not wish to support a place that would retain employees that treat people like that.
DSW, you already have tons of competition everywhere and your products are cheap quality....I would suggest you make sure you get staff that demonstrate an ounce of care to perhaps make your store somewhat pleasant to shop at.
There are millions of other options to buy the same exact stuff at - and for cheaper. So I will just go there instead. And yes, I know no one cares but I needed a moment on my soap box.

Where do I start? DSW is the mecca of shoe stores. The customer service isn't bad either. I hadn't been to this store in a few years. Believe it or not, I'm not a shoe fanatic. But, when I have specific shoe needs, DSW is my go-to. I was in need of wide calf boots. I already knew there was only 1 store that could fill my order. I originally ordered a pair of boots from their website. This turned into a disaster. FedEx, the delivery provider, totally dropped the ball. I waited 2 weeks for my delivery, but I also dealt with incompetence on behalf of FedEx. After receiving my order, unfortunately, the boot was too large in the calf. But for those out there who need a plus, plus size calf boot, check out DSW. I went to the store located on Greenwich and immediately received the best customer service. Angie was patient and took time to hear me vent about my dilema. Cathy(maybe with a K) stopped what she was doing to help me find another boot. She also offered her input on what style fit me best. She instructed me that the boot I truly wanted could be purchased online. This time, the store would order for me. Well, Angie did her best to get my exchange/return finalized. But then a problem with the gift card system tried to disrupt our transaction. My original purchase was put on a gift card, and then I could purchase the new boot. I had to place the order myself and use the gift card. Did I mention DSW also has unbelievable discounts on shoe purchases. Especially during this time of the year. I actually saved money from my previous purchase and had extra leftover on the gift card. This transaction will ship to the store in about 7 days. I appreciate the professionalism, knowledge, patience, and friendliness of both Angie and Cathy. The store was also a little busy, but not one customer was ignored. Was great. Bought a pair of Vans. I originally bought from Vans website but the insole was not what I was looking for. So DSW had what I was looking for in a color I wanted. I could try them both on. The only bad part is I have to drive across town to get to the store. It was worth the trip.

I’ve visited this store twice while in town. Both times I’ve needed different footwear than what I brought and have found what I’m looking for here. Well stocked and plenty of choices to choose from.
