Friendly and knowledgeable staff and extremely clean establishment. My only complaints are the carts provided on-site are awkward and hard to control and the elevator starts to close way too fast. They start closing before you can even get one cart completely in the elevator. Also there are no restrooms. But overall excellent experience

All taken care of in one quick trip. Price was great! We appreciate being able to drive into the facility, load our items on a cart they provide, store our items and drive out. No worries regarding the weather ☺

Yvette was very friendly & made sure I was able to get into a storage unit today although the system showed I paid but was not pulling me up. She was patient & got everything squared away. The storage unit was nice, clean, & easily accessible. I love the security measures in place in order to get into your storage unit. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend or relative.

Lots of Paperwork time of renting; Make sure to give proper notice when you are ready to leave, I think 2 weeks, or there might be a fee. These folks are very accommodating, within reason. Generally, pleasant to talk with but are about business. Will rent from them again. I also like the climate control.

Was great when it was Extra Space Storage. Was able to conveniently pay online. Had some personal hardships and got quite a bit behind on my monthly payments, and then was told that the company switched to Prime Storage. Since then, I was denied the option to pay online. It would have been a huge hassle for me to have gone over there to pay in person. I eventually was able to pay everything I owed to them if I was able to make two half payments WELL before the auction date, and was ready to pay the first half, and when I called them I was told that they will not accept my two half payments even though it would make me current before the auction date, and I had to pay it all in one payment in person....but they then said that I have until the auction date to become current. Makes no sense why I couldn't become current by paying half of what I owed and then the other half a few days later a month before the auction, but because of that I ended up losing everything I had in there. Things I'll never be able to replace. Go to literally any other storage facility and avoid this one at all costs.

Service was professional, courteous, and quick. The best efforts were made to accomodate my storage needs...size and location...even when I discovered...only one day later!...that I needed something a bit bigger. Facility is also well lit and very clean.

Much better under the previous ownership from our recent experience. First, with minimal information, the buyout happened and we had to call in twice as well as go into the office once to work out how our on time payment history was now messed up in their new system. The prices immediately went up considerably since the buyout. As we decided to move out, we found they don't allow their tenants to use the trash bin unless you pay extra. However, one thing the new owners did do correctly is keep their employee, Yvette, who continues to be fantastic! Disappointed with the transition to the new owners for sure.

Good space, clean facility and easy to get in and out of. I didn’t love that they raise prices every year and their prices don’t equal what you get. In addition their “renters insurance” is far too high and is added on top of their unit rent prices. This happened once it changed hands from extra space to prime storage. But it was easy to cancel my unit and the desk people/manager is east to work with.

I'm a property manager, please listen to my warning and avoid this shady, unprofessional, dishonest company. They illegally altered the terms of our lease.TLDR: A new company took over and they illegally started charging us more (not being dramatic, literally violated the terms of our lease agreement), without our knowledge or consent. The only reason we realized was because our auto-pay charged twice within the same week.1) Formerly ExtraSpace storage (they were fantastic), Prime Storage has now taken over and illegaly raised rates and added new fees. We did not sign a new lease agreement (the prime agreement) but they still billed us for their new rates instead of adhering to our existing lease agreement (the ExtraSpace agreement). This is illegal... you cannot enforce the terms of an unsigned lease. You must operate on the existing lease agreement. And it gets shadier...2) We called customer service, and the store location, and nobody has our original lease agreement... convenient... Previously, you would access a copy online, but the online portal was deactivated when Prime took over. We were on the phone for hours with rude, condescending customer service reps, until eventually the district manager gave us a call, who magically was familiar with the terms of our old lease. Or so we think... we are still waiting for a copy to be emailed to us BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO REQUEST IT FROM THE OLD COMPANY. Seriously, what a joke, that they don't already have a copy of all the leases they assumed when they purchased this property... to make things worse, what information was he quoting when discussing our original lease with us??? Either you have it, or you don't...3) Heres the tricky part and icing on the cake... we were on a month to month agreement with ExtraSpace. So since we refused to sign the new Prime Storage agreement (which is also month to month, but with increased rates) they served us a notice to vacate. Legal, yes, but petty and greedy.4) Like I mentioned above, the only reason we caught them trying to ILLEGALLY (I cannot stress this enough) charge us more is because they also changed the billing cycle, again without even a notice, charging us for 2 months rent within the same week.5) The final kicker... not only was the district manager dripping with a sarcastic, condescending attitude, he tried to make it sound like he was doing us a favor by honoring the terms of our actually legally binding agreement. He agreed to refund the amount Prime Storage illegally charged us. He also gave us one month free, our final month... because in the same breath he served us a notice to vacate.Do yourself a favor, avoid Prime Storage. I can't imagine how much money they illegaly make by pulling this stunt at all the properties they acquire. I have worked for multiple property management companies in my 7 years experience, two of which frequently aquired/sold existing, occupied properties, and I was in charge of making it a smooth transition. It involves a lot of communication (something Prime Storage is lacking, and probably on purpose) and most of all, strict record keeping/transfering. Nowhere in the process are you legally entitled to change ANY terms of the existing agreement, aside from the obvious "pay me now please, Im the new owner." I am absolutely disgusted at what feels like deliberate mismanagement, and a greedy attempt to steal money from customers.

I've been a longtime customer of Extra Space Storage, which was bought out by "Prime Storage". To anyone reading - anything prior to December 2022 was for the old owners, so only look at 2023 and on reviews. When Prime took over, they immediately raised all rates. It is entirely arbitrary, and when I spoke to them over the phone the reason I was given was "to cover our insurance" - yes, they are off-loading the cost of their insurance onto customers with only a few weeks notice. This is nothing but money-grubbing as they refused to provide me with documentation of the supposed "new insurance" they are supposedly covering my belongings with. Shouldn't be hard to show me the calculations they made to raise my rates and it would be good customer service to do so.They claim you can prove that you have your own insurance and waive their "insurance fee" but any insurance you seek is going to be about the same amount as the increase and they know it. So they have trapped you into staying with them despite the fact that the original contract you signed with Extra Space was for a much lower rate.In short, I picked Extra Space because they had the best value in the city, by far. When Prime took over they totally undermined that value and you might as well shop around again. The facility is usually pretty clean and easy to access, so it's still a good place to store your things and for that they get a 2nd star. But it's so incredibly frustrating that this new owner has opted to squeeze long-time customers for every drop like this, and follow that up with minimal customer service/customer empathy. Times are hard and the kinds of businesses that are going to survive are the ones who treat their paying customers with respect and reward their loyalty.
