I like the climate control environment awesome. When I moved out with plenty of notice. I should have gotten a full month rent as a refund. But instead they came up with bogus charges therefore I got nothing. Also it was very difficult to see a manager on site at 13th and maize rd in Wichita

When I arrived to finalize my unit, there was a sign noting they would be back in 45 minutes. So I sat in my vehicle with all my worldly possessions waiting for them to reopen the office. Once they did, I only was only able to notice the office was reopened as another person came up and was able to enter. The employee did not come back to change the sign alerting they were available to take customers again. The woman assisting me gave the impression as if I was inconveniencing her with my move in. I stood in awkward silence as she made no friendly conversation but just input data, directing questions now and then. She noted I would be charged for the coverage policy however the week prior I had emailed in my insurance policy to ensure that would not be needed. Clearly no one had looked at it or communicated within the team regarding my unit. Another 10 minutes were spent as she reviewed the insurance policy. The employee let me know to expect a rent increase in the next 3-6 months....awesome. Glad to know they get people in and then hike up the price. She provided my unit number and code and seemed as if that was the end of it. I asked if I could have a map or some direction of where to go in order to find my unit in the huge building. The employee noted the map would be too small to print and exasperatingly walked me to my unit. I had been given a lock to use so was providing my own. However I had no idea how cylinder locks worked. She stood aside and watched me struggle trying to figure it out. When I asked for assistance her reply was 'since you brought your own lock I thought you knew how it would work.' Thankfully the building is clean and seems very secure. Access is overall easy and the carts provided are in good shape. I can deal with negative people, so I am at least happy with the condition of the facility and my temporary affordable unit rate. I wasn't planning on writing this review, however after multiple emails from Prime Storage requesting feedback (even after I had unsubscribed), I have fulfilled their ask.
