I bought my complete office furniture set in Oct. 2019. Within a year one corner of the desk started to show where it had been repaired. I should have but didn't fuss. Now four plus years later three drawer handle pulls have broken. The drawers are approx. 1/4 loaded with files, so they are not heavy. Horton's, Wichita Ks, where I purchased from, offers no help. Saying replacements are not available. The "pulls" are a special size, so now I'm stuck with an expensive set without handles. I will never buy from HORTONS or ASPEN HOMES again. BUYER BEWARE!

This review is based on their online and phone service and not their products. I am convinced that Horton's is too busy saying "no" to potential customers instead of saying "yes". I was trying to buy a lift chair for my mother in Mulvane, although I live out of state.First, I sent a request through their online chat and it asked me for my zip code. I entered it and it came back basically saying, "Sorry, you don't live in our service area".Then, I sent an email asking for a call back at a specific time from a sales rep about a lift chair for my mother, who lives nearby. The consultant emailed me back saying that, "Yes, they have lift chairs and to call back and specifically ask for her"! OK, but I asked you to call me!A few days later I decided to call back as hadn't heard anything. The receptionist asks me a multitude of questions and then sees I am from out of state and stops me midsentence to say they do not deliver out of state. I tell her that this is for my mother in Mulvane and I know they deliver there. Why on earth would I but something two states away and expect it to be delivered to me!!! She is snotty so I tell her there are other furniture stores in Wichita.Horton's, you make it too hard to buy from you!

Marlene was amazing. She is so knowledgeable about furniture, how it’s made, how it wears, and how people live with it over the years. You won’t feel any pressure and they will give you plenty of time to make a decision. We purchased a theater love seat and couch. The half-price labor day sale is definitely worth it. We were able to bring them home the same day. Delivery is reasonable too.

If nothing goes bad, I suppose Horton’s is fine, but if there’s a problem, they’re terrible. We bought a 2-piece set 2 months ago, in February.Within a matter of days the upholstery on the recliner proved defective. It was under warranty, so Horton’s picked it up and sent it to their upholsterer. When it came back 10 days later, it looked fine initially, but within 48 hours, the same problem reappeared.Horton’s was willing to send it back to the upholsterer or refund our money for the recliner if we returned it. Steve refused to let us return the couch, even though we the two pieces were purchased as a set. We wanted a SET. Anyway, we had our doubts about another “repair,” so we elected to return the recliner. Now don’t have a “set” anymore. We have a couch and we now have to find a coordinating recliner. And we’re NOT HAPPY WITH HORTON’S!I had to deal with Steve on this issue. His customer service skills are sorely lacking. He was terrible. He was arrogant and snarky.I don’t like it when someone talks down to me.We won’t be back and we won’t recommend them.Be advised, their Home Stretch brand has some design problems, so if you’re looking at that brand and decide to buy it (bad decision), get the extended warranty. You’ll need it. And good luck with Steve.

These are some of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. The peppa accent chairs I purchased, fell apart the week I brought it home. When I called, they told me “tough luck.” I spent $4k on two chairs and they told me to stop calling because no one cared! PLEASE DON’T SHOP WITH THEM! Honestly 1 star is even to many stars!

HOW are these people still in business?! They supposedly match price. BUT, NOT online prices, NOT on anything that both they and the other store don't have in stock, NOT unless its on a flyer or advertisement. Then, they try to tell me that the frame on 2 pieces of furniture, made by the same manufacturer, sold by them and a competitor are not equal in quality. Come on- there are grades of furniture sure, but the same piece from the same manufacturer is equal. Rude salespeople and managers- common sense isnt common at Hortons. Ugh. No thanks.

I bought a recliner today from Horton’s. They had a very nice selection to choose from. I knew Horton’s was a store I could trust for quality. My salesperson was Lisa Taylor. I couldn’t have asked for better. She was knowledgeable about the products and was not high pressure at all. She was very patient with me and seemed to understand I would need some time making up my mind. After answering a few questions for me she started the process of checking me out which went very quickly. My delivery will be in just 5 days which made me happy.I would definitely buy here again and not hesitate to recommend them.
