“They have one of the best craft beer selections in Wichita. They have a number of good quality discounted singles ($0.99-$3.99) at the bottom of several refrigerators. One of the employees, Casey, even she was not the primary craft beer purchaser, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.”

Anytime I come in, especially when I'm a little tipsy already and I get to talkin he's always super nice and has a little chat with me. Even lets me know when there's deals going on for the stuff. I like and always feel happier walking into the store. When I see him behind the counter, ten out of ten would pick this liquor store out of any other liquor store just because it makes me feel comfortable”

“I am leaving this review because I work here and even when I didn't it is an amazing and cheap place to buy booze. More to the point though, I've noticed several comments about being turned away for not having identification and would like to clarify for those unaware, it is state law and store policy not to sell to anyone alone or a group if even one person does not have a form of identification. A passport and a current id are the only things accepted, a picture will not be accepted and if you have the paper Id you must have the expired to go with it or it will also not be accepted. Abusing the staff will immediately result in you being kicked out, be polite, be understanding and check your laws before you enter. We have the right to refuse service and will do so if necessary or threatened. It doesn't matter if your buying it or if it's for you, if an underage person is talking about, gesturing to, picking out or helping you carry product to the register, your sale will be rejected, it is the law and we will not lose our jobs for anything. Please be respectful, we are only humans not robots.”
“Store: Very clean and bright. Everything was organized and did not appear “cluttered”. Could easily navigate the isles.Staff: Very friendly. When we entered in we were greeted and an employee came over and asked if he could help us find anything.Selection: I didn’t check the beer or wine selection but they have a fantastic liquor selection. I was really interested in different Irish Creams. So many different types, flavors and prices. I am partially blind so I have to ask for help to see the bottles and things the lady came right up to me took me where I needed to go and explain what they were in detail and I much appreciate it so much.”

“I make it over to Jacob West about every two weeks for a 12 pack of my favorite brew (Fat Tire) Parking in the handicapped space as I mostly use a cane to move about. Pretty slow with getting out of the Toyota and by the time i make it to the register a staff member is there and greets me with that 12 pack ,which came from the back of the store; carries it out to my car and gives me a smile. Service like that... I'm not goin' anywhere else!”
“I always liked going to Maggie's when I lived close by there. I live bout 8miles away and the biggest reason being is out of everything is everyone if them is so very friendly they make you feel like family. The store is always clean they know the beer/liquor they carry and they stay well stocked.”
“My wife doesn't drink but a couple times a year. She use to drink rum, jack or crown but she wanted to start getting into drinking more wines and things. She was a little embarrassed to go into the store and needing help at the age of 40 bc she had no clue about wine. She got up the nerve around Halloween. She asked the two younger staff that was behind the counter when she walked in. Told them the little she did know about what ones she had tried before and wasn't a fan of. The younger gentleman was nice she said and showed her good ones that his girlfriend liked and from what she said, she might also. She felt no judgement and has even been back a handful of times since then. Thank you for making her feel non-judged and we will be back again I'm sure.”

“Picking up a pack of smokes for my friend and tried cashing in a $100 winning scratch ticket. But they said they couldn't cash it. So I went to Kwik Shop and the only way they would cash it was if I spent $60 of it at the store. So I ended up getting drinks, smokes,.snacks and my roommate ended up getting $40 worth of gas just to cash in a winning ticket.”
