This morning, I took my dog, Archie, to the groomers to have his nails trimmed and teeth brushed. While everyone was very welcoming and polite, which I appreciated, I was not satisfied with the teeth brushing portion of the service. The nail trimming was fine, but my dog wasn’t cooperative during the teeth brushing. However, as a groomer, it’s important to handle dogs with anxiety and still provide the service. Brushing the front part of his teeth for a few seconds and then spraying his mouth with freshener is not what I paid for.
I went ahead and tipped for the nail trimming, but I really wanted a refund for the teeth brushing. When I called the onsite supervisor, they said they didn’t believe the service warranted a refund. I doubt they reviewed the camera footage to see what actually happened, but that’s okay. I do appreciate everyone being professional while I was there, but the service could have been better. Since I didn’t get my refund for that part of the service, I won’t be returning.
