Customers should be aware that the policy for canceling requires an additional full payment. In signing-up, this is not clearly relayed. For clarity, if your monthly price is $115, after notifying the store of the desire to cancel service, an additional $115 will be charged. Two (2) stars opposed to one (1) because the onsite staff are professional, kind, and understanding. Overall, excellent people who are focused on helping people to better health. As such, the classes are excellent.Writing this as an individual I know for multiple medical reasons had to suspend service for a very long-time (9+ months). Pure Barre for a $15/mo fee will "freeze" the account until fully reactivated or canceled for the full fee/penalty. I spoke to the management and eventually the owner about the unique circumstances around this individuals difficult situation which prevented attending classes. Through this conversation with the owner, it was shared that the only way pure barre does not charge a cancelation fee is "if the member dies" which is in the contract. I was surprised that the owner laughed when she told me this. The conversation with the owner to say the least was disappointing.Wishing the business all the best as again the local staff are outstanding. I however, would recommend becoming a member of one of the other fitness boutiques in-town (just North of this location) with ownership that cares about their customers. For private and confidential reasons the member I was acting on behalf of to help resolve these issues has not been named. But this individual has relayed to me that they will not be coming back.

Took the intro class here with Emma (I think that was her name). It was definitely a challenge for me. There were a few places I got a little lost, but our instructor did a fairly good job communicating. I was a little disappointed with no keys for the lockers. I would recommend people leave their valuables in their locked car. I'm going back for more. We'll see how it goes!

There aren't enough groups for those of us who work, it is pretty pricey for what you get (you also don't get to keep the classes you aren't able use) and not enough variety. The "friendliness" seems fake or forced or just not genuine. Also, READ THE FINE PRINT before signing anything. I lost out on money to this place and didn't get much from them. Basically gave them my hard earned money for nothing.

-CONSUMER BEWARE -If I could give it zero stars, I would. They will refuse to refund fraudulent charges on credit cards. Very shady business and billing practices. The regional manager is condescending accusing the consumer of not reading the fine print when they did but the charges were on a card not authorized for Pure Barre to use. They make it easy to sign up but difficult to cancel.

First, I will mention that the workouts are good, the facility is nice and there were a handful of very kind and well-meaning instructors working here (at least one of those have left since my membership ended). That being said, I do think signing up for Pure Barre should come with a warning to READ THE FINE PRINT and, if I were you, I would PAY WITH CASH so that they do not have access to your card information. They are one of those workout facilities with several strings attached and will continue to charge you for months if you don't follow very particular (and poorly communicated) guidelines to cancel your membership. You also have to pay a fee just to cancel - something I had never experienced at 10+ gyms I have been a member at across multiple cities, states and countries.I signed up for a 3 month program but in the fine-print, it said this was 3 months at a certain rate and then it would go up for a month-to-month charge. I tried to do a charge-back with my credit card company. Pure Barre responded by adding fees to my original payment due and had people from their billing office calling to harass for payment within 24 hours of a charge back. When I called the local office in Wichita for help, they told me it was a personal problem, that the owner is the only person who can issue refunds and would not give out contact information of the owner. I ended up getting a brand new credit card to keep from being charged.Keep in mind they are a huge corporation and have lots of legal documentation you unknowingly sign into, so will always come back with it being the customer's problem because they know they are covered. My previous barre gym in Kansas City is also a successful corporation, but is run well. They wanted my business, valued me as a customer, and were always respectful and worked through issues with me; because of this, I kept a recurring membership with them for 5 years until I moved. Wichita does not have one of these, sadly.Pure Barre does not think their services are valuable enough to speak for themselves; they have to lock their customers in and trap them in order to make their money. If you are in a similar frustrating situation, feel free to reach out. I have since received the owner's contact information and will pass it along.FURTHER RESPONSE TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW: The owner refunded me PART of one fee that had been added by doing a charge back. It was called a late fee although my payment was not late. Again, I had to track down the owner - IF YOU CALL THE STUDIO, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AND WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE OWNER'S INFORMATION EVEN THOUGH SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN PROCESS REFUNDS. I didn't have any of my cancellation fees or monthly charges I didn't know about/use refunded.

I take PB in my home town of Alabama. While I was in town I decided to stop by and take the 7am class with Samantha. The kindest staff and most helpful instructor! I had an amazing workout at a beautiful studio. I would recommend taking here!!! Very informative and fun! ?

Love the workout from Pure Barre. I know I am getting stronger! Even though I’ve only been able to go a couple of times a month & I am just getting back into a workout routine, the flexibility and ability to push myself is getting better. It’s an intense workout that doesn’t feel intense to my joints.

What. A. Workout! I haven’t worked out in an exercise class in 3 years so I checked out their foundations class. I wanted to do something that wouldn’t hurt my joints, but would also work on my flexibility because I’ve spent the last 3 years traveling a lot. Not only did this class work on every muscle group, it was done in a way that made me, a person who definitely is not in shape anymore, be able to manage the workout pace or adapt to it. I was sore in some muscle areas for 2 1/2 days afterwards if that says anything! But I also enjoyed it so much that I signed up for a class once a week.

Took a beginner class then decided to sign up for 10 plus 2 free in 90 days. Everyone was super helpful, explained how to sign up and I’ve taken 2 more classes!!! Love the app, love the motivation, love the follow up! Teachers are great and I can work at my own pace! 10/10 recommend.

I truly enjoyed my one time trial work out here. They do a good job with making you feel comfortable even when your a new person. They help each person as needed with their routine. The classes are staggered through out the day and I chose to go to a lunch class. The times are great and should work with many individuals schedules. If you haven't checked it out you should and see what the offer is for a trial class to see how you feel about it before making a long term commitment.

I’ve lost more money with this group than it’s worth. This customer service is not one I will refer anyone to! Some of your teachers were great but not customer friendly memberships or class schedules at all. They make it very easy to join a membership but difficult to cancel. Fees to cancel, fees if you miss a class, etc...buyer beware!
