I am torn with this store. I was close to never going back…alot of products out of stock and always a new girl checking me out. Then it will get better but I am really getting tired of the unprofessional staff. I have been going to state for 20 years and had a girl tell me yesterday that I didn’t have a retail account in the system. I had to tell her my account number. The no prices on products is another issue. I think I’m done. Very stressful store.

Love this store. They always have what I need on hand. The store manager and employees are super helpful and kind.

This location has gone so far down hill over the past couple of years. Went in yesterday and the employee that was supposed to be working was standing by the front door vaping. I walked in and no one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. The employees always look like they don't want to he there and are dressed like they are hanging around at home, not at work in a beauty supply store. I'm grateful cosmoprof is right next door as I try to avoid State unless absolutely necessary.

I have called 4 times in the last week to see if they have a product and to get question answered before I come in and I have not once spoke to a single employee.

State beauty Supply has quickly become my go to for all of my hair needs. The store offers a wide variety of affordable products for all hair types and treatments. In addition, the staff is very welcoming and does their best to make sure your needs are accommodated!

My last few visits at this store have always been a little stressful, number one because they don’t have stuff priced, then I had some stuff returned because of the high price and they told me they only do store credit, then when it was time to go back to get more supplies the manager was the only one that could apply my credit and she was on vacation, ok doesn’t stop there… when I got back the following week to use my store credit the system was down , the person working was very helpful but she had to do everything over her phone (over the speaker) with another person of the company, don’t get me wrong, they always tried to help me but their overall system is not working to make our shopping easy

They don’t put prices on the items. Like that’s the craziest stuff I ever seen how are we suppose to do a price check? Who want to keep walking to the register asking how much is this? How much is that? Very inconvenient. I have talked to plenty of stylist that said it’s very odd we not in a glee market

It is not only rude but a direct view onto your treatment to trans people in general you responded to everyone elses complaint or review but the trans man and let me be clear in a customer service or retail establishment you should train yourself to be more aware of having just common decency to treat a person like a human being. Your lucky that Tobias was respectful and didn't cause a scene in your store because some of us including myself do not tolerate such obvious disrespect my number one rule in my life you may not have to accept or understand my life but you will give me the respect I give you. Word of advice trans people aren't going anywhere 70% of transgender people are minorities African American and Hispanic decent which point blank is probably your number one demographic hence the location of most beauty supply stores. Please be aware of your treatment to people because just from reading Tobias review and seeing how you didn't even bother to acknowledge or validate his horrible experience makes me without hesitation look somewhere else and I'm a great customer who buys in bulk because I also do hair. You may say to yourself your store will be just fine without my business well maybe but bad customer service will catch up to and any successful business owner knows how important keeping Any profit to their store is vital.
