We drove 1 hour and 15 minutes to visit this store. My wife and I drank alot of water so had to go, bad. We walked back to the restrooms but the women's restroom was being cleaned. I took my wife in the mens restroom with me and locked the door since it was unoccupied. Within seconds most of the employees were beating on the door wanting to know what we were doing. Some big ugly wired dude with 2 pots of coffee in him was yelling that an employee has complained about us. What the heck? My wife needed to pee! Her restroom was being cleaned, so why not? This was the most embarrassing thing I have ever experienced. This was a specific destination and my favorite store. But no more. They didn't even apologize! I will never set foot in this place again. And I will warn others. Go to the Yard and get embarrassed and mistreated. No apology either. We are well dressed, in our 60's. There was no reason at all to humiliate customers.

This is a great place for anyone who is a maker of useful things. They sell metal and a miriad of miscellaneous things. It's an eccletic super store like you never seen before. I've shopped here for at least forty years! Give it a try!

We drove all the way over from Hutchinson to pick up a piece of metal we needed. We got there at 4:40. We were told that they wouldn't cut the piece we needed. They were very rude about it. They said come back tomorrow. We own our own business and if someone walks in 20 minutes before closing we help them. There is no chance we will come back

This store is a little messy, but still fun to browse.

Always like going in and dimming around to see what I can't live with out. They have a ton of stuff for the garage guy. Take a trip and see what they have to offer. You won't regret it.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Walked to the back to try to buy some metal. Waited in the building for 15 minutes. Finally a worker came in, threw something across the counter and rushed out. Went to the front counter and they had no clue how to sell me metal and could only point me to the raging guy working in the yard. Seemed to be a unmanaged operation they have going.

I recently moved to the area and was recommended this place after not finding something I needed at any of the larger retailers. I finally got around to coming here, and am extremely impressed. This place is a DIYer's dream and is better than anything I'm used to. They sell new and used tools, materials, parts; you name it, they most likely have it on their 4-acre property. It's enough to send anyone with a mechanical know-how wild. I wasn't able to get much unfortunately, but I will be back soon for more.

The yard is always awesome. Every time I go in there I walk out with something and it makes me think of projects I'd like to do. I took a friend who had never been there, what!

Love this place for all my DIY projects. Wifey and I spend hours in this place… we can’t help ourselves! Doers gotta do.

Display room was very browsable; I found several things I didn't even know I needed, and the staff was quite helpful.

A friend had been telling me to go see this place for years, well, today I was talking to him as I arrived an hour early for an appointment, so off I went to see "The Yard"An hour later, I hastily paid for the stuff I found in the first two aisles and rushed back to my appointment...after which I came back for another two hours and approximately $100.I wish you were closer to home!If anybody needs a piece of 12" solid round aluminium bar stock, this is your place! Or a chunk big enough to mill a head for a tractor engine from...yeah, they got that covered, too.
