I think all mail to and from detention centers should me thoroughly checked before being in regular population.i am not incarcerated nor corispond with anyone in a facility. Can I mail a letter to this address for an employee of department of corrections? Can I apply for a job at this location? Forward mail from my residence to there? Can I get a post office box there? I have one but I need to rent another one. Can I abandon property in a post office box? Forward it? Shoukd my liscence to operate item in post office box need renewed or just the box number

Rude and lifeless employees.
I rushed over after work, tight on money, needing to ship a small box urgently. I had everything prepared except the label wasn't taped because I wasn't sure of their requirements. They insisted I buy $4 worth of tape, which cost more than the item I was shipping, then claimed they couldn't provide tape. Meanwhile, another employee taped a man's label for free right next to me. BIG thanks to the kind couple in the lobby who let me borrow some of their tape. USPS, you can step on a LEGO.

Literal retards working in there including the supervisor I’ve sold on eBay for years and never had the issues I’ve experienced in there, they were very rude and ruined my day for no reason

We came in not knowing what we were doing, mailing many important documents, and our associate was so helpful. He was friendly and engaging as well as over the top helpful. He made sure that we got the certified mail so that we could be prepared for any mishaps that are possible. Great experience.
