“I went into Maurice’s today to buy some jeans and I had an absolutely stellar experience. I struggle to find jeans that fit so when one of the sales associates (shout out to Courtney!) offered to start pulling styles that she thought would work, I was more than happy to let her do her thing. Her and another staff member found me a stack of choices. I literally didn’t do anything but try stuff on. I felt so taken care of. And every single person working was equally sweet and helpful. Seriously the best shopping experience I’ve had in a long time.”
“The Buckle is one of my favorite places for jeans. I recently bought a pair that needed to be altered on the length. Usually we are able to order my size online, but this style doesn't come in the length I need. Alterations are free, so that wasn't an issue, but a bonus. The issue was, I bought the jeans out west. I didn't ask how long the alterations would take, but I called a week later to see if they were done. The sales associate found them in back, still not altered. I was informed they needed to be taken to the east location to be altered. The associate said she could take them that night, as she lived on the east side and would be glad to do it. I was pleased again. Five days later I got a call from the east store that they were ready to be picked up. I did then have to drive to the east side to get them. I just wish the associates would have explained the process so I would have known what to expect. I do love my jeans though!”
“Pure Barre Wichita is more than a place for fitness. It’s a community of some of the most amazing people I am lucky to know. I started Pure Barre after finding an ad on Facebook for a free class while late night scrolling and thought why not. One class and I was hooked and that was almost five years ago. I have never stayed with any fitness routine as long as I have with barre. The instructors are all truly amazing and very knowledgeable on appropriate modifications if you have an injury or say a knee that has seen better days. The classes are challenging but in a good way that leaves you feeling so rewarded for what you can accomplish. I have learned that I am stronger than I ever thought possible. Take a class. I promise you will not regret it.”

“I visited this JC Penney in Towne East Mall last Saturday. Found a couple cute sweaters. As I was checking out I remembered an ancient gift card for JC Penney that had been riding around in my wallet for years. I pulled it out to try to use it. Gracie, who was checking me out, let me know it was deactivated which wasn't at all surprising to me. But she went on to say that she could check the balance and give me a new one. I was so impressed. The whole thing took at least 10 minutes but she did not act perturbed or mad or anything. She kept going even when I told her that she didn't need to follow through. She worked some magic that's for sure! She is a jewel and I appreciated her so much.

“Lucinda's is far and away my favorite store of all-time. There have been times in my life where I have had to move outside of Kansas, and Lucinda's is what I always miss the most. Their shop is the definition of lovely. They are everything that I adore rolled into one. First and foremost, the staff is so delightful. I have always been greeted and treated with kindness. That same gesture has extended to my special needs son as well, which left a deep positive impression. Their selection of gifts, jewelry, clothes and accessories is fun and impressive. There is something for everyone. 75% of my wardrobe is from Lucinda's, I kid you not. They are always my first stop for when I need a little treat for myself and others. They offer online shopping and pickup which I have utilized many times and appreciate. They deserve all the praise. Simply wonderful.”
