About Woodland Health and Wellness Magnet Elementary School
Woodland offers pre-k through 5th grades and is part of the Wichita Public Schools - USD259 district. As a health and wellness neighborhood magnet school, Woodland welcomes students from the surrounding neighborhood as well as via the magnet lottery. Applications for the lottery open in October each year and are typically due in late February. For students in the Woodland neighborhood, online enrollment opens annually in July with in-person enrollment available the last week of July. Check the website for specific dates each year. Pre-k interest forms are typically accepted beginning in early March for the next school year.

This school is a joke. Teachers want to express a child has a disability and preaches for the child to go on meds. They do not have the proper qualifications to make such decisions, this school should be shut down.

We love this school so much we got an out of district transfer and drive the kids from K15 and MacArthur all the way to Woodland! Woodland offers so many opportunities that other schools don't and they have a small but awesome PTO group!
