People there are no help what so ever, constantly have an attitude. Not a very pleasant experience.

Fastest post office ever and super nice. I went there for my passport appointment, and there was only one worker who was handling everything really fast. He even let me retake my passport picture because I didn’t like it, and when I messed up on the form, he gave me another one. While I was there, several customers came after me and the worker was very nice to everyone and handled their packages fast. It was just overall a good experience compared to other post offices.

Doesn’t read where mail goes or doesn’t care! I get others mail and others get mine all the time! Missing 2 packages for Christmas! Called at least 4 times this morning and got an answer on the 5th! Absolutely ridiculous!

Is insanely rude and condescending I’ve had multiple experiences with them and none have been pleasant.

Put on hold for 40+ minutes until i gave up. Have one day Express shipping I paid a good amount extra for and haven’t received it still, 3 days later. Don’t recommend going through them.

This place is a joke. The carrier needs to be fired. She scanned a package but put it in someone else's mailbox and now I am out $50. From what I am hearing from other people in my community she does this all the time. Been fighting trying to get my money back for 3 weeks and still nothing. They won't answer the phone when you call. I am now dealing with the Main Post Office since I have not gotten any results from this place.

Stepped up their game in the last few years. Lance is the best person ever to deal with there. Super courteous, quick and always a pleasure to work with. The other taller, older gentleman with glasses that I've had a few times is also very personable. Our mail carrier Monica is fantastic as well!

I’ve come here several times and has always been met with speedy and friendly service. USPS has much better pricing than Fedex when it comes to shipping.

Do not go here for your passport pictures. I recently had my passport pictures taken here and my pictures were rejected because they didn't properly take the photos. I went back to tell them about the issue and the guy said yeah we have alot get rejected with a smile on his face. I told him that's very frustrating since I paid for it be done right. I also side that maybe they shouldn't offer the service if they get rejected all the time. Lesson learned.

Even though the lines get long, the people at our post office always take the time to help me when I get to the counter. They have always been very helpful even thought they are obviously working long hours and have to put up with a lot of public griping and stuff. Thanks Alexandria Postal peeps!

I would guess very few Yelp Reviews are done on a post office and even more would be a 5 star rating. I had such an experience at a particular post office in Alexandria KY. The Fred Factor was a book written about a mailman who gave excellent customer service. I met a "Fred" in Alexandria, KY. There is one guy working hard to meet a plethora of needs for each and every customer. Many older individuals like myself need a lot of attention and this gentleman never seems to get frustrated and yet keeps the line moving. This gentleman also has a way with people as to not make them feel stupid. I have written several books on customer service and can readily identify trained professionals. These individuals are quite common at Disney Southwest, and even Chickfilla. I might just expect such service at these locations, however to receive such service early in the morning when I was covered in paint at a post office located in a strip mall was highly unexpected. The gentleman circled the barcode at the bottom of the receipt as I had to look like the last person who might later scan and fill out a customer service survey. I have to admit I was a little surprised that our U. S. Post Office even cares what I think about their service. The questions were also very good. On this day it is safe to say there were positive surprises for both sides. Besides filling out their survey, I also have my Yelp Elite Badge! I can only hope that the post office follows up with this young man running the show in Alexandria KY as he has unlimited potential. I truly hope ge gets acknowledged by leadership.
