Friendly staff. My senior Lab is fearful at times. So having her nails clipped, brings much anxiety to her and me. The staff were able to clip her nails without issue! I was incredibly relieved that she tolerated it so well.

if your thinking about taking your animal to the vet, please do not come here: not only have a read two bad recent reviews, but also i've had a bad experience of my own. we had to take one of my ferrets to get a tooth extracted today. we had to pick this place because not a lot of places take ferrets. well when we went in just to get him checked out before the date or the surgery, they told us that it would be 105-150 dollars. obviously we expected it to be a little more then that. but no, when we got bubba back the bill was 2TIMES THE AMOUNT!! it was like 370, over 200 dollars more. well it's okay if it were to be something he needed but what was on the bill was a tooth polish, some kind of ceil for that polish, and a tooth cleaning. we did not ask for those!! are they required when you get done with surgery? . i know you guys may spend 1000s here for your animal but i promise you that you aren't actually supposed to be spending that much. they don't care about ur animal, they care about the money!!! so please do not bring your animal here. i care about those little guys so much & it would kill me if your animal got the improper care and died. also, after bubba got surgery, they just gave him back to us, no after care instructions or anything. and now we believe he has kibble stuck in the hole where he got his tooth removed. and we think his other tooth is going into the hole when he closes his mouth. are they just trying to get more money from us? whenever our animals are in literal pain and need the proper care?

After being told my dog needed an ultrasound (and paying for the ultra$ound) I was told their ultrasound machine isn't that great and has limited capabilities and that I should go to a specialist for a better ultrasound.

I just want to say thank you to the staff and doctor who squeezed me and my pup in super quick. The amount of care and compassion they showed was amazing and did not go unnoticed. ❤️

Rude staff. Don’t offer explanations or empathy. Oh, we killed your animal? Must’ve had something wrong with them beforehand. OH BUT MULTIPLE ANIMALS? Okay. They killed not one, but BOTH of my cats!!! If you love your pets DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. they will suffer, they will die, & then this sorry excuse for a “vet clinic” will tell you it is not their fault. Be safe, be weary.

Amazing staff! My Otis was so nervous at the other pups and barks in the office and was pretty worked up. They were all so sweet and kind and answered all my questions as a first time dog Mom! So excited we chose them for our vet care ❤️?

Had started using this facility after a very poor vet experience, I thought this was the perfect fit for us. I took donuts to the staff because they were kind every single time. Except today I finally had enough money to bring my 4th cat in for his shots, after spending over $1200 for the other 3 I returned to buy more flea medicine, adding other things to the list trying to support our vet and the business.. But today while at the office I discovered that only one of my othe

We've taken 3 dogs to this veterinarian clinic. Our 13 year old has been going there since he was 10 weeks. Today, my 4 year old needed to be seen in an emergency. He'd hurt his leg, limping and whining. My husband called to bring him in and they said "sorry you can bring him in tomorrow and drop him off". No, not acceptable. Every doctor's office has emergency times to work in patients but a veterinarian can't?! This isn't the first time this has happened. I called to get my 13 year old in because he had been coughing. 13 is a senior and everything worries you when they're sick. They couldn't get him in for 4 days! This particular clinic has 5 veterinarians and can't work in a patient in an emergency. If this were a real doctor's office they would never have lasted. Beware! We've spent $1000s here with 3 different dogs and cats and can't get an appointment when needed.

Took my cat out there. She was very dehydrated and had an infection. They were wonderful with her and will definitely take any of my other pets out there. She is now back to her fun self and eating. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her

Have brought my pets here for years. I have trusted them with my fur babies, even in the most critical times. They have always done a wonderful job caring and treating them.

After moving to this area and adopting a new pet, we found ourselves seeking local vet care for what seemed like strange behavior to us. After 4 visits to this vet and what we believed was extensive blood work the answer was always the same. "He has an ear infection and is stubborn and just wants his way." What was really happening was kidney failure and the ear infection meds caused the failure to progress rapidly. (Always ask what possible side effects are!) How could a trained medical professional miss this and in fact, make the problem worse. On the final visit his recommendation was to euthanize. How dare he!! We left and sought treatment from our old, trusted vet an hour and 40 minutes away and gave our precious boy four more months of happy, comfortable life. This clinic failed our beloved pet and he failed us.

I regret not taking an extra 10 minutes to calm down and investigate further on local vets who actually have knowledge of rabbit care. I digress.. I woke up Friday to find my sons beloved Holland Lop had a belly the size of a balloon. She was lethargic, lying down, and unable to move much. I began to google "local rabbit vets" I was only able to find one (according to Google) within an appropriate range. As my dad was actively dying, I am frantically trying to find a vet to save my sons rabbit, make it to say goodbye to my dad and try to prevent two tragic losses for a 9 year old. Ashland Animal Clinic said they had one vet who was able to see rabbits, I informed them that I was 45 minutes away and I was leaving my home immediately with the rabbit. They understood the urgency and "squeezed us in". We waited 26 minutes in the parking lot before anyone even came to get her (again an emergency they were well aware of) they finally got her. 10 minutes later were told to put our masks on and the vet would see us (covid-19 means lobby is still closed) he tells me that he isn't sure what is wrong, but rabbits just "like to die, to be frank". He then says, he could do an X-ray, YES, PLEASE! Minutes pass, he comes to say she has an obstruction in her intestines. He says he can do the surgery but they don't do good during surgery (rabbits are spayed/neutered and have dental work daily by vets in this country, they do fine with surgery IF you have an experienced rabbit veterinarian. He then goes on to say that, he's done this surgery before and had success with it (contradiction much? Should've been my first clue) and pulled out massive amounts of cloth that rabbits have chewed. I'm frantically trying to figure out what to do, I need to drive almost an hour to my parents to say goodbye to my dad on his deathbed as hospice said he was passing, I'm trying to save one of our beloved pets, and try to prevent even more heartache for my kid. So, I inquire on price, 700$. Do it! We're whisked to the front desk where I'm asked for 300$, and I ask if I can get a absolute figure for this surgery, "Oh, it'll be less than 700$ he likes to quote on the high end. You're paying 300$ now, so that's half) okay, fork over my card. Go home. 6:00 pm rolls around, vet calls to say our rabbit was awake, did great in surgery and gives me a rundown of what to expect for recovery. He says she needs to eat and have a bowel movement to get her intestines going, that this was important but, she made it through the worst which was surgery. Now, she was never fed, had IV fluid or given waster for her 14 hour stay. Do you think they keep dog and cat food for overnight stays after surgery? Do you think they give dogs abs cats fluids? YES! So, I'm not told they don't have pellets or hay, I'm only told when I call the next morning that I need to pick her up promptly so she can eat.. WOW! A veterinarian service that isn't prepared to care for ALL animal types they service?! I arrive, they tell me I owe a remaining 436$!!!!!!!!! I'm shocked!! I'm a single mom! I was told it'd be 600$ by the office staff, but I'm paying 736$ now?! What can I do? I have to pay to get my rabbit, so I do. Vet tech brings her out, "she's not very active but she hops when you make her. She just needs food and TLC. Here's some antibiotics". Get home, she's flopping all over her cage, labored breathing, not eating.. I call, "give her yogurt, force feed with a syringe. Dr Pinkston says she has to eat." WTF After syringe feeding her yogurt, and being home and hour, she lets out three cries and dies in my arms. Ashland Animal Clinic killed my rabbit by not providing food, fluids and proper care. The vet is NOT experienced with rabbits. They charged me almost 800$ for a pointless surgery and now my rabbit is dead. I am screaming this from the rooftops, letting the rescues I foster for know, telling every pet owner I know. Disputing c
