Clean, updated, and breakfast was very well put together. I travel quite often and this is the best place I have stayed in over the last several years.

First time I have been there since the hotel reopened after the remodel.
The rooms are great and love the updated look.
They have a good continental breakfast.
The lady who checked us in was the nicest lady and was so helpful.
I really appreciate all her help.

5 stars across the board. I went because where I was staying had no ac. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was clean and very nice. The bed was very comfy. But, the best part was the super friendly staff! They were very nice. The breakfast was amazing! Even though I wandered down at 9:20 and everything was still there. Best hotel in Kentucky!

I arrived in the early afternoon- Was greeted by the friendly receptionist and went to my room. My room smelled nice as that was something I worried about with some of the reviews I read here. There was also a couple restaurants within walking distance which I found super convenient. There was a nice sitting area outdoors and plenty of well lit parking. My bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep! Thank you Best Western River Cities for a great stay!

This was our first time in Ashland and we thought this hotel was perfect. It is in a quiet location, everything was clean and updated, the staff were friendly and helpful. The sweet lady on night shift recommended that we check out the “purple bridge” and it did not disappoint!

Recently stayed at this "recently remodeled" location for an event. The gentleman at check in was very nice and the lobby was clean. Not long after arriving in our room, we discovered that the AC unit was not functioning properly. We booked this king room several months ago. After calling the front desk, we were told that there were no other king rooms available and that maintenance would not be available until the next day. We had to leave our stuff in the king room and sleep in a smaller room for the first night. Maintenance took care of the unit the following morning. We went back to our king room for the remainder of our stay. We could hear doors being slammed all around us for the 4 days and 3 nights we were there. We could also hear people walking around and stomping on the hallway above us. While housekeeping did leave us fresh towels in a bag outside of our room, they did not clean our room or remove trash for the duration of our stay. On the last day there, our thermostat stopped working. The lady that took care of breakfast was super sweet and they did have a nice breakfast layout. When we checked out, our total was higher than what was booked on the BW website. The lady at the desk at checkout said there was nothing she could do about it. I have reached out to the manager three times to rectify the situation, but nobody has bothered getting back with me. Doubt I will ever stay there again. Has the potential to be a nice place.

Absolutely one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. They have only been reopened 3 weeks. Everything is brand new! The staff was beyond nice. We was hauling our Harley and thay said...pull it right in front, we hall our bikers get as close to the building as possible. Love that respect!!!
Highly recommend to all especially bikers!!!
Rooms: New super clean
Safety: Pulled our bike up to the office door
Walkability: Great wings next door

We arrived in Ashland for a YMCA Swim State Championship and sought a hotel in close proximity to The Y. To our surprise, the hotel had recently undergone renovations, presenting a fresh and new ambiance. It was impeccably clean, with large rooms, comfortable beds, and a bathroom featuring a strong shower. The staff proved to be helpful and attentive, with Mr. Jim, in particular, being a delightful presence as he diligently attended to the breakfast area. The hotel strictly upholds a no-smoking, no-pet policy, with the exception of service animals. Our stay was enjoyable, and we were pleased with our accommodations. The only negative aspect for us was the location of our room in front of the elevator, as the loud beep of the elevator sounded every time it stopped. Therefore, I suggest requesting a room farther away from it.
Rooms: Large double queen beds, 2nd floor, clean with modern decor and 55" Smart TV with right temperature, enough light and outlet, UBS. Roller black out shades. 03/03/2024
Nearby activities: Few minutes drive to Downtown, close to Lowes

This hotel was a must stay a few years ago when they had the jacuzzi in the room. Unfortunately they remodeled and opted not to keep the jacuzzi rooms. Sadly we will not be back. Not I have to find another hotel for romantic nights.
