I bought an Explorer from them yesterday. From the moment I stepped on the lot Mr Ernest went above and beyond to help me get the vehicle I wanted. The lady in the office was such a a sweetheart as well. I definitely recommend them and will do business with them again! Very, very pleased with my experience.

If anyone is in the market for another vehicle, I would not recommend ANYONE to buy off of him. (County motors in Ashland ky) I unfortunately did & the engine blew up after a month of having it. (130,000 mile vehicle) I Bought “his extended warranty” he pushes and it covered nothing & I was left with a junk car and a thousand dollar bill from don hall. Called and spoke with him and he was as of no help and never wanted to return calls and always wanted off the phone asap.

We got a decent vehicle but was promised that the back up camera would be repaired. Told us to take the car home and they would order the part and fix it. After 2 months of calling them and never getting the same story twice I finally gave up. They say they will fix it but they always tell you to call them back, instead of them being the one to initiate and them call you to arrange the repairs. You call back and then you always are given another story why they haven't gotten the part or where they will have it fixes.
Lesson learned...Don't take the car off the lot until the promised problems are repaired.

Nice young man promised on the phone that the vehicle would be held long enough for me to get there (apx 2hrs) and purchased (paying cash) but within less than 30 mins the truck was marked sold on Facebook marketplace and the dealership would not answer, finally the father answered and was very arrogant and said yes it had sold.. but I should have suspected as much by looking at the past reviews under the dealerships current & past name.. don’t waste your time with this place

I looked at a vehicle, asked to take it to my mechanic before I decided. He was glad to let me do that. My mechanic found a seeping leak on the valve cover. When I told him about he fixed it before I bought it.
A couple of days later I noticed a leak. I took it to them and they checked it found a slight leak around the oil filter and fixed it. They told me to bring it back in a few days so they can recheck for leaks. I was very happy and impressed.

Absolutely terrible communication and experience. The older gentleman likes to make a lot of promises that he will not keep. If something is broken, he will not fix it like he says he will. They also double charged me for my tags - and gave me a single year tag. He told me he that he would write me a check for next year, but I’m sure he won’t. I asked for a check at the time and he refused. I also had to harass them for 4 months to get my title and my tags. Save yourself the trouble & scams & go elsewhere.

They are great, straightforward, honest people! I highly recommend. Got my daughter a car here and there was no hesitation in fixing any issue the car had. They definitely went above and beyond and we are so grateful! Thank you all so much!! Also I don’t think they are named Tri-State Auto now but this is the place we got the car. Not sure if it’s same owners as Tristate. I believe it’s called County Auto, but this is the location
