I am not a shopper but, even I like this place. Prices are not cheap but, they have a lot of local stuff.

During our vacation to Bardstown, KY we visited Mary’s and the owner and her staff exemplified the epitome of customer service. Her store is Beautiful and shows her passion for her extraordinary taste in decor. Love my Angel.

We stop by every year and shop during the Christmas season. This year I found an ornament that I loved. It was my favorite thing and I really wanted it. It was strange though, a girl with purple hair working there stopped me and asked me where I got the ornament. I told her on the shelf and she told me that it wasn’t for sale and she was holding it for someone else. She took it from me and said she would try to find another one. When I checked out she told me she couldn’t find another one. I was so bummed out that it ruined the rest of my afternoon and I didn’t feel like Christmas shopping anymore. I’m so disappointed with my experience that I probably won’t be back. My suggestion is that if you’re going to hold something for someone else, put it behind the counter so that someone else doesn’t pick it up and get their heart set on it.Note added after reply from owner- I would definitely not want to buy something that someone else also had their heart set on, that isn’t my complaint. I want to point out that at no point did I ever go behind the counter. The shelf that I grabbed the ornament from had items on it that were on display and for sale so I’m not sure how you expect customers to know what is for sale and what is not. The owner’s response just reinforces my decision to not return.

This beautiful shop has the biggest variety of anything you would need for decor or gifts. Friendly and accommodating. So glad I found you on Facebook.

This store contained high quality gifts at an affordable price; however, as the cashier was exceedingly rude and dismissive and didn’t even gift-wrap my purchases, I am forced to give this store a lower rating…

At Mary's is a massive downtown historical bardstown shop on the popular strip that offers a wide variety of goods from home decor, to furniture to art. Me and my second oldest daughter stopped in here the other day to browse for possible Christmas presents. While we didn't purchase anything it was a fun place to browse. Slightly cluttered but that's ok as it means they just have a large inventory of options. Pricing wise I'd say they are on the high end a tad for our liking. I'm able to find likewise items in louisville or online a tad bit cheaper. However they are located in an extremely popular small town/touristy shopping area so I understand the slight increases. The workers here were extremely nice and helpful and give you the small country town welcome you would expect. Overall a very cool store. Just because we didn't find anything on this trip does not mean we will not come back and purchase in the future.

Oh my goodness! Ms. Gabby (sp?) is amazing! Not only can she sell ice cubes to an Eskimo, but she is a fantastic Host. As soon as we walked in, we were greated by a young woman and the staff was super friendly. Ms. Gabby stands out because she gives samples of the product (so yummy!) and makes you a part of the At Mary's experience. So many beautiful things to look at, and whoever does the interior design should be commended; I'd love for my home to look like the rooms they have! What a beautiful place with so many amazing employee's to help with ANYTHING. They love what they do and appreciate the products they sell. A definite Must-stop in your tour of Bardstown!

This is a must stop shop when you visit Bardstown, KY. I first visited the store around 2018 (I think). The woman who owns the store is SOOOO nice and she has the cutest little dog who wanders around the store (he's getting up there in age, I was pleasantly surprised to see he was still there when I went back a couple weeks ago. To put it simply, it is a gift shop hybrid store. There are so many unique and fun finds there. YOU MUST TRY HER DRINK MIXES (they are, as David Rose would say -- simply the best). Also, I went with my mom while I was in town for a visit (although trip advisor only lets you choose family with children or teens...?)

Wonderful, interesting store, filled with all sorts of wondrous things at all different prices, very nice, affordable but completely worth it. This store is much better than the one across the street, Shaq and Coco.

I believe the owner or co-owner is Romanian, and a few months ago while shopping, we had a very interesting conversation about our accents and I thoroughly enjoyed shopping here. Supporting locally owned businesses is of utmost importance during this pandemic.
