Love it here the employees are very helpful and very nice and the shells are always stuck and there's plenty of stuff always there. Very good AutoZone probably the best I've ever been in

Went to autozone 0477 on Bardstown Rd in Fern Creek, KY to purchase a rear turn signal bulb for our daughter’s vehicle. I asked if someone could install it for me and the clerk, Osniel, said yes if it’s accessible. The manager, Michael or Mitchell, overheard him and immediately said, we ONLY do that as a courtesy and it’s not something we HAVE to do! He went on to say it had previously rained and there were only two people working and they would NOT be providing this service and he repeatedly said it’s not something they HAVE to do. The manager’s response was absolutely NOT the kind of customer experience that Autozone wants its customers to have. He could have handled the situation very differently and chose not to do so. The clerk waiting on me, Osniel, was absolutely wonderful as far as helping and going above and beyond. I was the only customer in the store at the time and no one was even in the parking lot. I’m hoping this is not something that becomes a regular attitude at my autozone. I love that place!

TLDR: Watch out, the CSRs take it upon themselves to sneak additional products without asking.. then tell you that they can’t take it off because they gave you a discount, but it was the reward points, not a discount.
I went in today to get a set of brake pads. During checkout, the CSR/clerk/dude behind the counter said he got me $20 discount. I replied “sounds good” but then noticed on the credit card machine, there was an additional $4.98 charge. The description said it was Break lubricant. I looked down and noticed that hidden behind the brake pads there was in fact two packets of brake lube. I pointed to them and asked if those were free and he said no, then proceeds to “inform me” on what brake grease was and why I needed it. I told him I didn’t need it because I have a whole container of it at home. He then tells me he can’t take it off due to the discount, which ended up not being a discount, it was my store reward points that I didn’t want to use, but he redeemed them anyways.
I ended up just paying and walking out because the fuss isn’t worth the scene, but this behavior is unacceptable. I borderline felt scammed. I can understand that the clerk may have been trying to be helpful, but his actions need to be disclosed to the customer before purchase. So please beware, and check your receipts.

Not just this store but it's the worse ever. I found out the owner is a bros. To a big oil company so taking the parts back is money in their pockets. Go to oriellys or advance.
