About Guthrie Opportunity Center
The Guthrie Opportunity Center provides a drop-off recycling service for the Bardstown community. People can drive around back and do not even need to get out of their vehicle, as staff are eager to help unload items and take them to the appropriate place. The center provides a wonderful service, offering work for people with disabilities. They are friendly and willing to do what is needed. Some note that the bins can fill up quickly and remind users to respect the area by not leaving items on the ground. The community is fortunate to have this venue.

I love that Bardstown has a drop-off recycling option but I do wish there were larger, separate bins for each item so they wouldn’t fill up so quickly. People also need to respect the earth if they’re recycling and not throw it on the ground around the bins :( defeats the purpose of recycling!!!

Drop of my recycling every couple of week. They are always eager to help you unload and help. Drop off is around the back.

A wonderful venue! The food they provided is always good. So willing to do what is needed. Bardstown is fortunate to have then. Thank you Mr. H.!
