got into town later in the evening and stopped in to see if we could find something to eat, we were too tired to go to a sit down restaurant.
This place is a gem! small market, plus a deli that makes some great sandwiches and wraps, along with other food.
we got sandwiches to go, and they were very good!

This "convenience" store has it all food wise Outstanding sandwiches and sides. Even several varieties of soft serve ice cream. Customer service is great too. This store may not be considered haute cuisine, but I dare you to walk in, and not walk out with something good to eat.

Wow I was traveling in Bardstown Ky late at night. Couldn't find a gas station open. $37.00 worth of gas left in the tank. I had to go 300+ miles bad planning on my behalf. Called them. Eureka had gas and whenever I walk in the market the smell of the sausage what a welcome. It smelled wonderful. The employees were awesome too. Thanks guys

How is there only 2 reviews of this place? There are 3 things my crew and I do every trip to Bardstown. We hit up the Bar at Willett, stay at the General Nelson Inn, and ........Late night BLT's and homemade Banana soft serve at Thompsons Food mart. These ladies probably think we are crazy walking in at 1am ordering like 20 BLT's but they are unbelievably kind, and put the same care into their food, as they would for family at home. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, they carry Jakes fresh county sausage tubes to take home, and the BLT's are legit like Mom made them growing up. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality every time we swing through. See y'all soon!
