I filled out a customer service review a few weeks ago. I received a response that was a basic form letter thanking us for being a customer, but did not address any of our concerns. A second email at the same time asked for another review and asked if AmeriGas provided a 5 star experience. The answer is “no”. Sending these two emails following the one star rating that I gave you two weeks ago is a prime example of terrible customer service. This company has terrible customer relations. Use the reviews and try to improve or quit sending them. If we had another choice of gas suppliers, we would not be purchasing gas from Amerigas. Unfortunately we have to tolerate this inadequate service.

We have reached out several times for our tank to be turned on when it was turned off when not asked to be. Nobody has showed up and we’ve had no gas for 5 days. We just get the run around and told someone will be out here and no show up.

I have had the worst experience with this company fromthe start! I would not recommend them at all!! I have been told for the past week that I am going to get my tank exchanged, I have called these people daily only to get lied to! They keep telling me it's going to be exchanged on certain days. I sit here and wait all day long for them to show, but they don't come. It's so frustrating to have to call them daily just to find out oh I can't promise you anything, but they will be there ... If I don't get get my tank exchanged and a complete fill up, I will be going with someone else. I am beyond fed up with them to be honest!!!! Do not deal with them! Bad experience!!

My order was smooth and effortless. I called about my delivery, when it didn’t arrive in the specified time frame and it was delivered first thing the next morning.

I am on the monthly plan with automatic refills. It was late fall when my tank registered 30%. We called and requested a refill even though it was supposed to be automatic. We called again at 25%. AND AGAIN at 20%. After 4 weeks of calling and a final percentage just below 10 in the tank, I finally got a real person on the phone who scheduled a delivery for the next day. We go 80% (not a full tank) without so much as a "sorry" from the company.

I have been without gas since November of 21. Been trying to get the tank fixed that I pay a yearly fee, because it is leaking. Still no gas or tank not fixed. This is ridiculous. It’s now July 22

When we obtained our propane from Heritage Propane, we had NO difficulties or problems. But they sold to Amerigas. What a terrible service they are. I gave tried 3 times in a month to get a delivery, got order numbers each time with a promise it would be delivered in 5-7 business days—never showed. IF you are lucky to speak to a human, it is obvious a call center in which they barely speak English. DO NOT put yourself in this situation. Use a different company!

Heritage was a good company. But since Amerigas took over they have went to pot. Came and replaced my mother's 100 pound tank with a different one because they were no longer doing the replacement tanks. Left her with a empty tank. Took the full 100 pound tank that the company said was hers to keep; left her with no way to cook. The driver who switched the tank's told her that he would have the fuel truck there within the hour. Still waiting. The driver isn't anything but a lying piece of trash and the company is just plain clueless.

We’ve gotten our propane from Heritage for years and have never had a negative experience. They were always punctual and very courteous. But that’s not the case since the change to Amerigas. Instead of being able to call the office and speak to the wonderful people we’ve always worked with, the calls are taken by the “improved” telephone system with the corporate office.It took nearly 2 weeks of calling each day and staying on hold for over an hour each time before actually speaking to someone. The online system is a joke. Can’t schedule or view delivery information. We were told we’d receive our delivery within 7 days. It has now been 12. No propane. No updated information online. Again, can’t get anyone on the phone.I never leave negative reviews. Ever. And I don’t direct any negativity to the individuals that work in the local office. Corporate needs to get their act together. Pronto. This process has been so painstaking and miserable that I’d rather cancel all accounts and find a new distributor than have to deal with speaking to them again. And I would.......IF I could get anyone on the phone or a chat window. Ridiculous.Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
